I recently stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott property and had a very disappointing experience regarding a security deposit that was never disclosed at the time of booking or check-in.
After my stay, I discovered I had been charged a room security deposit without any prior notice. While the amount itself is not significant, the issue is the complete lack of transparency and accountability. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve the matter and have provided every piece of information requested by the hotel. Despite this, I continue to get the runaround.
Each time I contact the property, I am asked for additional details I have already submitted, only to be given new excuses instead of a clear resolution or timeline for returning my deposit. This ongoing back-and-forth has been frustrating and unprofessional.
Hospitality should include honesty and straightforward communication, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendliness of the housekeeping staff.
Overall, I am extremely unsatisfied with how this situation has been handled and would caution others to be aware of potential undisclosed charges and the difficulty of resolving issues afterward.
I think i was charged by booking.com and again at hotel. If im not reimbursed by Monday I will be making phone calls

They have roaches go somewhere else. We had to get plastic bags to put everything in so we don’t bring roaches home. If you have the option do not stay at this hotel.

This Marriott property has seen better days. The room was outdated; the amenities sub par. Had to request basic bath linens (bath mat & wash clothes). Overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Even a charge for parking in this suburban hotel. Would not recommend.
Hotel was very accommodating to me. I was able to check in early and check out pretty late. The room was smaller but had a cute sitting area. Tv needs to be updated. The main downside was the walls are very thin. I was able to hear the whole convo from next door.
