We were asked to pay an entrance fee to get into the piano bar to buy some drinks. Dinners at the open restaurant next to the bar could see into the bar and listen to the piano player for free. Did not enter on principle.

No options on the breakfast buffet if you don't eat pork or seafood. Room was nice, but a bit small.
Honestly not the newest hotel in Fukuoka but is a nice hotel located close to the Canal Shopping Mall. The subway was closed by and the location of the hotel was okay. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and plenty of taxi around too. Fukuoka is a pretty compact city so getting around is easy.
Check in at the Grand Lounge was pleasant and the Grand Club was one of the nicest across most Grand Hyatts in the world. The food was lovely and the service was top notch.
The room is a bit old school but is spacious and comfortable enough. A proper turndown service is provided.
In conclusion, I will have no issue staying here in the future
Cleanliness is the most i like and its too big room with a clean bathroom with a big mirror and the staff are friendly

Somehow humidity was always a bit high in the room, could manage to adjust via Aircon, maybe should have called the desk
We spent four nights at this lovely hotel. It’s ideally located near the train stations you need to explore Fukuoka and for getting to the airport hassle free. We had booked a club room and on arrival we were asked if we would like to check in the lounge but the gentleman on reception was friendly and we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. The staff are all amazing. The concierge spent ages explaining the map and giving us fantastic advice. The club lounge was perfect for us with drinks and food which catered for all tastes. The staff were so helpful and accommodating in the lounge and all over the hotel. I used the pool which was spotless clean and enjoyed the sauna and indoor onsens. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a great stay in Fukuoka. Being connected to the shopping mall is a real added bonus.
