The location was great, the overall appearance of the lobby when you enter was nice and the room was clean.
The weather was in the 90's, yet the hotel did not have air conditioning, making the stay extremely uncomfortable. What was even more disappointing was the customer service. The staff (Kianna) showed no willingness to accommodate guest and seemed to follow a scripted response when concerns were raised at check-in. Parking was easy at check-in however, after going out for the evening and returning , there were no parking spaces available for hotel guests. To make matters worse, several parking spaces were roped off and unavailable, leaving guests with virtually nowhere to park. This was extremely frustrating and should have been better managed by the hotel and I'm still being charged for 2 days parking!
My family arrived and we were told there was no AC. Windows were limited. The shower drain was clogged. The shuttle was not available to the port. The shuttle was not running for over a week.
Great location walking distance to the Port... just a great atmosphere
No breakfast in the morning

The hotel looked nice and was clean, but there were many issues encountered during the visit.
The AC in our room was broken the whole time we were staying there. Upon check-in, we were told it would be fixed and it never was. The water smelled like sulfur, which made me think it’s unsanitary. When we first got to our room, the toilet wasn’t flushing. We went to call maintenance for them to fix it and the phone in our room was not working, so we had to go down to the lobby to ask them to fix it. The next night, the bar closed pretty early around 10:30 which many of the hotel patrons didn’t like. Additionally, the fire alarm went off very late even though there was no fire. It took a very long time for it to turn off. According to another patron in the lobby, it had happened before. During the time the fire alarm was going off, the elevator did not work and our room was on the eleventh floor. It seemed like a nice area, but there was a sex worker who often hangs out in the lobby and a lot of unhoused people screaming outside.
This hotel did not meet expectations in a lot of ways. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If I had known there was no AC, I certainly would have chosen to stay elsewhere. Since the AC - which is a very basic amenity - was broken the whole time, this is technically false advertising, which is illegal. To call this establishment part of the hospitality industry by any stretch of the imagination, would be wrong. If you’re going to charge this much, you should not charge over $200 plus parking. Booking.com should remove Hilton Long Beach from their website until these errors have been fixed.
Location
The entire air conditioner was down at the hotel. We got told at checking. However by some employees we found out it had been down for a couple of days. They could have sent and email prior to checking. We got offer a refund so we could go look for another hotel, however it was late.
Location from curise
Hotel air conditioner was out when we got here and off all night.. there was no manager accompanying customer's no fan blowers were put in place. Very humid . Beds were uncomfortable.
There was no ac it was so warm and sticky in the room
Worst stinky
I liked that the property had a pool.
Well I didn’t like that the AC wasn’t working. I had booked this trip for our anniversary with our baby. We drove very far to go to the aquarium and really needed a place to stay. We decided to stay after knowing the ac was broken because the front desk stated at the 8th floor, you’re facing the ocean and get a good breeze in the room. There wasn’t a good breeze. It was hot and stuffy. We took all my baby’s clothes off and she slept with two stroller fans facing here. I also didn’t like the lack of parking. We came back to our room from having dinner at around 1030pm. The parking garage was full. When I called front desk to ask where we could park if it was full, she said we had to come back inside and get a gate code to park across the street. So here we are coming back from our room with our 9 month old baby carrying a car seat from across the street in the parking garage. We had to pass by multiple homeless people and didn’t feel safe. Since we had to sleep with the sliding door open, we heard all the traffic. It was HORRIBLE!! We were woken up by motorcycles, cars revving their engines, cars honking. It’s completely quiet when the sliding door is shut but unfortunately the ac was out. I’m glad I brought my white noise machine. I will stay at another Hilton. It gave me a bad taste in my mouth. After paying almost 300$ for a room for one night and having to deal with all of this is ridiculous in my opinion.
Los empleados del hotel se les pedía información o algo que necesitábamos y solo decían que harían algo pero no había respuesta o solamente decían no muy mal tanto para houskeeping, front desck y personal encargado
Nadie brinda ayuda solo reponden no
