Nice surprise.
Pros:

A great value. I got a large room with micro, fridge, coffee maker, comfy bed. The property is aging but I think the owners are doing a good job of keeping it up. Breakfast had sausage, eggs, a lot of cereal options with fruit, yogurt etc., much better than I expected from reading some previous reviews. Very friendly staff as well.

Will never stay there again!
Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

Bathroom light was burnt out and too late at night to call service. Showered with door open for lighting. There were beetles (bugs) in the tub. The bedding had poop stains on one of the beds and again did not notice until morning after we awoke. We attended the State Fair so the rate was over $300/night. Way over priced. Gross place! Would NEVER stay again!

Great place to stay / Canadian rate
Pros:

Canadian rate was awesome. Hotel is nothing fancy, but was lean and good enough to sleep in! A/C and fridge kept things cool!

Pros:

Close to places I wanted to visit and the airport.

Cons:

The pool was closed. I really like the convenience of having a pool onsite. The manager did offer other options at different places.

Never again will we stay here.
Pros:

Not too much... the bed was comfy and the pillows were nice. That's about it.

Cons:

I am not sure if the hotel was renovating the rooms or what, but it was a bit of a mess. The rooms were not sound proof. The shower rod was falling out of the wall. I didn't notice it until I went to take a shower the next morning. And the towels had black stains all over them. The hotel did give us a "King suite" to move into, but that only gave you a couch and a bed in your room and that was a king suite. At least the shower rod wasn't falling out of the wall, yet... There were some decent reviews on this hotel and that's why I booked the room, plus we were close to the folks that we came to visit. But if I had known how everything was, I would have never booked this hotel. I did attached pictures of the shower rod and the black covered towels, hopefully those pictures will come through.
