Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka-Namba

The staffs are nice, approachable, & helpful. The room was clean and organized even if small space but enough for 2 people, economically. Breakfast was good.

Have had different experiences with this chain sizewise (the Tokyo Kayabacho was best), but aside from quality amenties, the budget rooms were maddeningly small, only enough to fit a bed, and giving no opportunity for respite. If they made the common dining area on the check-in floor available off-hours, that would make even a night bearable. Three nights in a matchbox drove me to the edge, although I found putting my pillow on the window side of the mattress gave me a psychological advantage, because I could see the exit!

Property is clean and location is okay. Staff is okay too. My only complaint is that they only have 3 washer/dryer for the whole hotel. I have to waste my time waiting for others to finish. It took me 2 days before I was able to wash my clothes.

I really thought this space was quiet, clean and cozy.
The staff is very unfriendly and nosey. They have so many rules and just are stickler for the rules. I wish there was no staff to bother me. It is a good hotel for something quiet and relatively cheap.

Convenient and clean.

This is a great place to stay! One big tip - if you have luggage take exit 5 which has an escalator going up. Then cross the street with your rolling luggage. Do not take exit 7 which has tons of stairs. This hotel is clean, the rooms are better arranged than something like APA. There's a family mart below, also a buffet. The hallways and elevators are AC. There is an Ippudo close by, there are tons of places to eat including Matsuya right around the corner. It's easy walking distance to Dotombori and KUROMON MARKET. When you have to leave, the Nankai Rapit is right across the street and will take you to Kansai airport. Overall fantastic!

The rooms are small but good amenities and a helpful staff. Location is excellent as it is close to transportation (subway, train to airport) as well as popular sites. Plenty of dining and shopping around.

Great hotel in a great location. Walkable to everything!

We enjoyed the location of the hotel - walking distance to the many restaurants and shops in the Namba area. The hotel rooms were comfortable and had everything you need. A convenience store and a restaurant (buffet breakfast) are on the 1F. The room price was about $120 for a double room with daily breakfast.

Less than 5 minute walk from Namba station, great location for walking to attractions including Den Den Town and Dotonbori. There also is a family mart next door.

Hotel in a strategic location from where it is close to everywhere in Osaka with the best bed during a two-week Far East vacation.

Just above exit 7 from Midosuji line- Namba Station. Walkable to Dotombori street.

This hotel was in a great spot. Right next to Namba train station, had a 7-11 right next door and only a short walk to main shopping district.

Small hotel rooms with very limited space in the rooms to move around but not expensive and was convenient as it was very close to main train lines, making the area very accessible. Walking distance away from Dotonburi. If you are looking for a budget friendly place to stay, this is a good option.

probably the most convenient location possible. walking distance to dotombori and namba station, and less than 20 feet from a subway entrance direct to the midosuji line. the room was comfortable and clean, as well. the location alone, however, should be the major selling point of this hotel, especially if you plan on spending many late nights out in dotonbori.

The Hotel is closed to the train station. It is easy to walk to free market, shopping center, very convenient. I like it a lot. Recommend it.

Hotel was in a prime location with Family Mart connected downstairs and a Namba Station entrance right outside. Staff was friendly and a good amount of amenities available.
