Lovely location but expected a little more
Pros:

The location was great - right next to the beach. The lobby of the hotel was lovely and the breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The hallways looked like they needed a bit of a hoover and while the staff in the bar were lovely, service was a little slow and the food was average. Given the photos on the website and the ratings on Booking.com I expected a bit more

Family Stay At the Jameson Links.
Pros:

Such a great experience start to finish. Arrived early, and not unexpected, our room was not ready. Travelling from Canada we were tired. The team stored and then put our bags into the room when it was ready. They also called to let us know the room was ready. Top notch!
We were a family of 4- the room was spacious, beds were excellent, and the amenities were spot on.

The golf course is not for those used to using the whole course- I have donated a few balls to the course for future players to find. It was great and in really decent shape considering it was March.

The location was excellent- beach nearby and transit stops very close by. We used this public transit service a lot- it worked really well getting where we needed to go.

Overall a really great stay, great value and extremely clean. Looking forward to another trip back to Ireland.

Everything was excellent but breakfast was so disappointing.
Pros:

Location

Cons:

The breakfast was very poor, the hot breakfast was cold, tasteless and wasn’t eaten. Tea and coffee was also undrinkable.

Some of the receptionists lacking people skills
Pros:

Bryan the guy who helped with our bags was a gentleman. Very accomadating. Brec was good.bed was comfy

Cons:

Booked 2 twin rooms. Requested rooms beside each other , this wasn't accomadated. But we accepted this. When we got to our rooms they had no bath and on many previous stays and in similar rooms there was always a bath. Asked to be moved to a room with a bath receptionist was very unhelpful and was reluctant to accomadate our request , was unfriendly and not what we had expected when being greeted on arrival. We did get rooms with baths but on opposite ends if the corridor and It started our stay with an unnessary bad vibe. As a quest who has stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and had previously had a fabulous experience. After this stay I would be hesitant to return.

Kitchen staff & servers need a shake up .
Pros:

Definitely recomend ? The rooms are spotless and modern .
Breakfast was fine ,normal hotel breakfast.
Think the manager need to look at a few issues.
Ask for soya milk for cereal.takes ages my wife was finished when I received it .
I don’t see why the carton can’t sit in the chiller .
No side plates on the table to eat your toast from . Or butter knife .
No dairy free spread available.
Food is served in heavy pots with very heavy lids . Some items were used and not replaced , scramble egg , mushrooms etc . Fried egg was empty both mornings .
If the above had not happened it would have been 5*
Plus the sound was terrible in our tv . Wouldn’t go above 12 but really more like a 6 .
