I loved this hotel. The room was beautifully presented, modern bathroom, and a modern but vintage style. Staff were very
Pros:

Close to the centre, very clean and modern with a vintage charm.

Cons:

No issues with the property. The only downside was our room curtains couldn’t fully close due to one coming off its hooks. The curtains are beautifully tall so will need a ladder to fix.

For the room rate charged they could do better
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

Rooms not cleaned regularly. Found a spider crawling on the sheet under the doona. Toiletries are not replenished daily and we ran out of shower gel and there was no body lotion provided until the second day of our stay.

Average stay
Pros:

Location is great. Walking distance to the Queenstown mall shops and restaurants.
Atmosphere is ok.
Rooms are pretty good size. We stayed in a superior queen beds room. Beds were comfortable to sleep in.
Value other hotels with similar room rate could be far better. I’d stay elsewhere for the same amount of money.
Cleanliness - was disappointed as the carpets were not vacuumed when we checked in. There was just one toilet roll in the bathroom I had to ask for more. Found a spider crawling on the inside sheet under the doona. The bathroom toiletries were not replenished daily. We ran out of shower gel and there was no body lotion provided until the second day of our stay and they left one small tube of it for three of us.
Amenities the gym was utilised by my husband and my son which was pretty ok.

Below average for the price you pay
Pros:

The bed an bedding was incredible, one of the comfiest beds and pillows. The bathroom/shower were great.

Cons:

The staff would fight and bicker in front of us on multiple occasions, specifically in the restaurant area. The welcome to the hotel was poor, we were not told about the different amenities or anything about the area or anything welcoming or helpful. There was no extra bedding if it got cold which it did, it snowed. We didn’t get room service one the days despite being out majority of the day. The extra nice things like moisturer or drinks etc that you would expect in a hotel like this - there was nothing. The food was also bang average and the service at breakfast just to make an order was really disappointing.
