A very comfortable hotel. Exhausted after hiking it was wonderful to have such comfortable beds (with six luxurious pillows!), a huge room with heaps of storage space. A gorgeous renovated bathroom with lovely hand and shower soap (but you can't buy it there). Staff all very pleasant.
It didn't bother us too much, but the room didn't get attended until after 3pm each day. Again it didn't bother us but there is a 10 minute walk, including a steep hill, into town.

NADA
Rooms were lovely and modern. Very comfy beds.
Lots of choice at breakfast but the cooked food was cold. It states the eggs are cooked on demand but there was just a tray of cold fried eggs.
Found the staff to be very friendly.
Surprised the bar closed at 9.30 p.m.
Hotel in a good location and easy to walk into town.
However, no one mentions that it is a very steep hill to walk up when returning.
The location is perfect. Near the bus station and we can walk to the city center.
The bed is really confortable. Really good for us to recover our body energy.
The room is size is good for three family members.
none
The restaurant staff were great
Our room did not get serviced for 90% of the time we were there. Even if we were out all day they would arrive once we returned to the room, at the most inconvenient times - a little like an afterthought. Parking was also an issue. Even once we finally got a parking on day 3 the parking lot was full when we went in to park.
5-10 min walk to downtown, very friendly staff, and modern, spacious bathroom with great water pressure! Beds were comfy and rooms were quiet.
The only improvement could be temp regulation - it would get warm in the day but seemed like the only way to cool the room was to leave windows open at night and let bugs in as the temp control panel seemed to only deliver heat.
Stayed at the Millennium for 3 nights whilst touring the South Island. The room was great with a big comfortable bed and everything else we needed. The staff were very friendly and on reception there was a new fudge to try every day. The restaurant was really good, tasty food and the breakfast was exceedingly well priced.
Like most of the hotels in Queenstown it sits above the town so the walk back is up hill. However, using the path called Hotops Rise, down to the town and back again was much easier than the main road.
Loved our stay there.
