One of our favourite hotels!
Pros:

A grand old hotel! Super comfortable, great staff, wonderful attention to detail. There seemed to be systems in place for everything - it just performs really well as a hotel. Huge rooms, fantastic bath / bathroom. Bus stop directly outside the front door that connects directly to airport. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service into town too, which we appreciated.
We felt well looked after! Definitely where we will stay whenever we return.

Cons:

We were initially concerned that the location was a bit out of town, but it worked perfectly. There is a combini just across the road, 10 minutes walk to good restaurants, short bus trip to get to the more northern end of sapporo (and the bus stop is directly in front with regular service).
Decor is a bit dated, but it is charming and very well maintained.

The room feels old. Also the central heater is to warm even for us staying in winter. The temperature cannot be changed
