Short notice stay

Cons:

The staff were not welcoming and not accommodating, we double booked and did not receive a full refund even tho we stayed that night. They did not lose any revenue but still charged us for a booking that we couldn't make. We will Not be staying at Ibis again Or using booking.com ever again

Very poor customer service experience

Check in staff were poor, tried calling the hotel prior to check in and was bandied around on hold for 40 minutes. Room bond still hasn't been returned on Wednesday and check out was Sunday. The restaurant staff did not want to honour the included breakfast until pushed and a copy of the reservation was provided.

Staff are lovely to deal with. Location is perfect tho I hate having to pay for parking.
Pros:

Room was small but but still plenty of room to move around. Window was a good size to look out into the alleyway below.
Fridge in room didnt work so we told reception. Within the hour maintenance had brought another fridge into the room and removed the broken one. Fantastic service.
Location is one of the main reasons we stay here. So close to everything and a short walk to Northbridge.

Cons:

Breakfast was a letdown. Scrambled eggs were undercooked and tasteless. Croissants weren't crispy. Orange juice was nice but thats all. I couldn't try a couple of things as they were a bit spicy and Im not good with spciy(hot) food.
