Staff are super friendly. Plenty of parking. The rooms are always super clean, great location. Local amenities. Great value for money.
Absolutely nothing!
Couldn't use the restaurant...closed
The room was filthy, dust in all corners of the room, crumbs from previous guests, unwashed mugs and spoons, mould in the shower as well as barely little pressure from the water which meant showering took longer. Stains on the walls showing dark patches. The room was cold at night due to old and non insulated windows and I struggled to sleep because of the noise of vehicles from the country road opposite the hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and only once was the receptionist present for no more than 30 minutes and found large duffel bags dumped in the lobby area most days which wasn’t professional and could have caused someone to trip. Wasn’t satisfied with my stay overall.

Small bedroom had all the facilities I required. It was very quiet, had a comfortable bed and a good shower. Everything was spotlessly clean.

I was so surprised at how lovely the hotel was, the rooms were modern with lovely big showers and the decor was lovely.
The staff were SO lovely and accommodating, they were so friendly and welcoming and made you feel like you were with friends.
The food in the restaurant was absolutely incredible and such good value for money.
Choosing The Renishaw for our trip was 100% the best decision and I couldn't recommend it high enough.

Nothing, it was perfect
There was no breakfast. Not even one to buy.
The only window was a velux so no view, like being in a prison cell. Also no blind or curtain so I was woken at 5am by daylight
There was no shower, only a bath and a hand held tiny shower head
The room was on the third floor and there is no lift, this was not made clear in the listing
The place is right on a main road
The room was very nicely presented and staff greeted us on arrival.
Having been out most of the day the staff were really friendly in the bar on return and explained breakfast arrangements. Breakfast was just what we wanted, reasonably priced and staff were friendly too.
While the bath looked a lovely option it was less convenient than a shower in a relatively small space.

A great little property for the price I paid for a room. I had a great time and checked in easily. The pies - all beautifully homemade, are a MUST in the happy family run restaurant adjoining the hotel!
