Amazing property room was excellent breakfast good and staff lovely

Front desk staff was very helpful.

Even though there was a hiccup the first night, the staff went above and beyond my next 2 nights. Breakfast was amazing.

I like that the microwave is in the main area. Nothing worse than a room smelling like burnt popcorn.

The good:
-Room is overall a good size and was clean.
-It was quiet, even though it seemed the hotel was pretty busy both nights we were there. -Staff were friendly and welcoming.
-Breakfast had hot options, which is always nice.

The not necessarily deal breakers but could be improved:
-The smoke detector sits right over one of the beds (if you have double beds) and the green lights on it are BRIGHT and there is no way to get rid of them/turn them off. Not very great for sleeping.
-There aren’t many outlets next to the beds. One bed has two electrical outlets next to it, but there are no electrical outlets in the middle of the beds or on the other side of the second bed, leaving that bed with zero electrical outlets near it.
-Wish they had Queen beds. We had a 2 double bed room. I was traveling with my Husband and 12 year old son. There was no way two of us could share a bed, (and we are not big people, we are actually all on the shorter side of average.) so we put our son on the pull out, while my Husband and myself each took one bed a piece, after trying to share a bed the first night.
-The bathroom is a VERY tight fit.
-Breakfast area didn’t have enough places to sit and eat when hotel is busy.

Overall the hotel is fine. We had a renovated room but they didn’t change the doors at all. Our room was up to date/modern but the bathroom door was WORN, especially at the bottom. Paint peeling off and holes at the top, where there used to be a towel hook. The door also wouldn’t stay fully open, kept wanting to close.

I stay at many different Hyatt Places throughout the year and this one doesn’t have the Chromcast option on their TVs/in the app like other Hyatt Places, which was unfortunate, because the cable channel options were not great, very limited.

I would probably stay here again, if it were for one night, while bringing electrical tape to cover up the lights on the smoke detector. We got a great deal with Hyatt points for both nights, but you could tell it was a different hotel before and it wasn’t quite up to par with other Hyatt Places I have been to.

Our room was spacious , spotless as it had been recently renovated. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable . Front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The room was clean and updated. Upon arrival, Rebecca greeted us and was so very helpful throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was very good. We will be staying there if we ever return to Fort Wayne.

Breakfast was better than I expected, beds were comfy, staff were very nice and attentive, room was clean, as was the hotel. Surprisingly so, given that they're doing construction on the second floor.

Staff is friendly and front desk was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Cleaning crew are great workers and do a great job keeping hotel clean. Breakfast was very good with several options. Hotel is very quiet and peaceful, we would definitely stay again. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant!
