I wouldn't recommend stopping in Geraldton if a solo female or traveling with young kids.
Pros:

The room itself was good and the staff were lovely. We also really appreciated that there was toys for children in the main building.

Cons:

We were put in a room in front of a very busy road at the entrance of the property. You could hear the road trains going past every hour and there was people and coming and going all night. At one point there there had been some people hanging around outside acting suspiciously until the men in the lodge next to us chased them off at like 2am. This made me nervous and I couldn't get back to sleep until 5am.

If you do stay make sure you empty your car.

We did not seem to get the same number of beds as what was advertised on booking.com

Not much to like

Cons:

Room was so dirty, floors clearly hadn't been mopped in awhile. Stained curtains and sharp broken tiles on the floors. Photo's on-line were clearly taken 10+ years ago. Time for a revamp snd new cleaners.

Would not stay in this room again
Pros:

Staff were friendly and very conducted.
Food was good.

Cons:

Very noisy Roadtrains going pass the room all night and beds were like bananas did not sleep well.
Steak was small serving.
