Hotel Lungarno is an absolute gem of a hotel in the middle of beautiful Florence.
All the staff are incredible and the service is impeccable.
We stayed in the river view suit which was really beautiful and our 3 kids stayed in 2 entry level rooms which were great.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and our room was very spacious with an incredibly massive shower.
The rooms were all elegantly styled and had impeccable finishes.
When we checked into the hotel we mentioned that we had been battling to book tickets to the must see museums etc in Florence and we were told that they would ask the concierge to assist us.
So a special mention has to be made for Lorenzo, the concierge.
Within the hour, Lorenzo had made contact with us and had all our tickets booked.
He was an absolute delight in advising us in where to book for dinners and booked us into an amazing restaurant, 5 min walk from the hotel.
He made us feel completely at home and was always interested in our days excursions, always adding a bit of information about certain places we had visited and where we could go next.
We highly recommend this hotel to any traveller who wants to feel spoilt.
Our stay at Hotel Lungarno was truly outstanding and one of the highlights of our time in Florence.
The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant and extremely comfortable, with an exceptional location on the Arno, just steps from Ponte Vecchio and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the city. Our room was wonderful — very comfortable, beautifully appointed and with a fantastic view that made coming back to the hotel after a day in Florence a pleasure in itself.
What really sets Hotel Lungarno apart, however, is its team. From the moment we arrived, everyone we encountered was remarkably kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The service was impeccable throughout our stay, but always warm and natural rather than formal or intrusive. Every request was handled with great care and efficiency, and the entire team seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as enjoyable as possible.
We particularly appreciated their flexibility and willingness to help when our daughter unexpectedly joined us during the trip. They went out of their way to find a solution so that the three of us could stay comfortably together, which meant a great deal to us and perfectly reflects the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.
The atmosphere of the hotel, the comfort of the room, the extraordinary location and, above all, the kindness and professionalism of the staff made Hotel Lungarno feel very special.
We left Florence with wonderful memories, and Hotel Lungarno was certainly part of them. It is the kind of hotel you are genuinely sorry to leave — and one we would return to without hesitation.
Thank you to the entire Lungarno team for making our stay so memorable.
We spent 4 glorious nights at Hotel Lungarno late August. The location is perfectly situated on the Arno river a minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio.
We were so pleased to be upgraded to a large River view suite which was beautifully appointed, quiet and cool.
We loved enjoying happy hour cocktails at the river side bar (seating priority given to hotel guests).
We also enjoyed our dinner at their Michelin star restaurant, Al Borgo San Jacopo. Menu was "prix fixe" with flexibility.
Most of all, as a former HR executive in the boutique hotel industry, I found the staff at Hotel Lungarno extremely friendly, helpful and well trained.
Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!
Was wonderful- very helpful staff, especially Roberto
Great location incl. views of the river. Old school luxury vibe with modern touches. Very friendly and attentive service (thank you Vinicio for making our departure so pleasant).
Truly enjoyed this Amazing Hotel! You will love it! The views are Spectacular!
È tão bem localizado no centro histórico que apresenta certa dificuldade para chegar de carro.
We were so lucky to spend 4 nights in this wonderful hotel, with the added benefit of a balcony to enjoy the scenic view from the hotel.
The room (209) was stunning, and staff were exceptional
I was charged more than what was advertised to me on Booking.com
From the second our driver picked us up at Santa Maria Novella station, we knew this stay was going to be special. The transfer was smooth and comfortable, but it was the check-in experience that truly set the tone for our entire trip. We were welcomed with genuine smiles and such warmth that it immediately felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being welcomed into someone's home.
The staff at Hotel Lungarno were nothing short of amazing throughout our stay. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or just passing in the hallway, was met with attentiveness and a level of hospitality that's hard to find. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was clear the team genuinely cares about making guests feel special.
And then there's the location which simply is unbeatable. Right on the Arno with views of Ponte Vecchio, you're steps away from everything Florence has to offer, yet the hotel itself feels like a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets.
Between the impeccable service and that incredible riverside setting, Hotel Lungarno exceeded every expectation. We're already looking forward to our next stay!
Our stay was magnificent. We staying throughout Italy for the last two weeks and this was by far the best hotel and the most incredible experience.
He helped our family have the best stay during our trip. The team was very attentive and proactively anticipated our needs. This was the best service we experienced throughout Italy.
Simply perfecto! Beautiful rooms, superb comfort, and world-class service at Hotel Lungarno. Thank you to the wonderful team for an unforgettable stay!
We loved every second of our stay at Hotel Lungarno! The hotel is beautiful and effortlessly elegant, and the location truly can’t be beat for exploring Florence. Our room was incredibly comfortable, and the entire staff was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond throughout our stay.
We were traveling with our 15-month-old, and they made everything feel so easy—thoughtful, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming to families while still feeling like a luxurious, sophisticated hotel. We felt so well taken care of from the moment we arrived. An absolutely wonderful stay, and we would come back in a heartbeat!
We have been fans of the Lungarno Collection for many years and now have a new favorite with Hotel Lungarno. The hotel has a beautiful location along the Arno River. The “Studio Suite River View” was an elegantly appointed and comfortable room, with a small balcony offering lovely views.
We enjoyed the artwork throughout the property. The hotel has a quiet and serene atmosphere, which is a welcome experience after a busy day exploring the city. The Picteau Bistrot & Bar (fantastic aperitivo) is the perfect place to relax and take in the views during our 5-day stay. Cannot wait to return.
Unbelievable hotel, design, rooms, lounge, and service. Five star experience at a 4 star price. Marble bathrooms (even the baseboards were marble!) , incredible housekeeping service - coiled phone cords, water always refreshed, you name it. Will recommend to anyone going. Couldn’t have asked for more at an incredible price.
Absolutely amazing, perfect location with beautiful views. The service is exceptional. A special thank you to Bilal for capturing unforgettable moments! Thank you for creating such memorable moments. Our future home in Florence.
We loved staying at hotel Lungarno. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were taken care of. All members of the staff (Belal, etc) were kind, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. The location is great, close enough to the big highlights to be walkable, but still felt private and quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
We chose the Hotel Lungarno for its location, and it lived up to expectations. Being on the Oltrarno side of the river gives you a much quieter, more authentic feel while keeping the major sights just steps away.
The design is exactly what you’d expect from a Ferragamo property—sophisticated, art-focused, and very polished. We booked a room with [Insert Room Type/View] and waking up to that view of the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio was the highlight of the trip.
Service was discreet and professional, fitting the standard of a high-end boutique hotel. We particularly appreciated [mention one specific detail, e.g., the breakfast spread, the concierge’s restaurant recommendation, or the valet service].
It isn't a massive corporate hotel, which is exactly why we liked it—it feels like a private residence. If you want luxury without the typical grandeur of the larger tourist hotels, this is the right choice for Florence. We will definitely return.
