Don't stay here unless you smoke
Pros:

Staff was friendly

Cons:

Strong old cigarette odor was intolerable. No amount of odor elimination worked. Perhaps a smoker wouldn't mind this hotel, but for a non or and ex smoker the remnant smoke was nauseating
Being assured that i would get a $150 fine if I smoked in the room was absurd

I never stayed, I couldn’t get a room and had to sleep in my car
Pros:

I NEVER stayed in the room, the office was closed when I arrived with a sign saying they closed early due to renovations. I am requesting that I be not be charged and issued a full refund.

Cons:

Someone could have informed me that the office would be closing early.

Room was very dirty. Smelled like rotten food. Front desk personnel were very rude upon arrival. No smoke detector in the room whatsoever.

Horseshoe Curve Lodge served our needs of a place to stay at a reasonable rate.
Pros:

Breakfast was not offered, and advertised as the case. The room was clean and looked nice. The refrigerator was a nice one with separate freezer, and both worked very well. It served our needs for the night. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly. Location to highways and shopping was good.

Cons:

The tv and remote were difficult to use. The plugs were loose and did not all work. The facility in general had signs of renovations, and you could tell that was evident. It was apparent that it was an older facility.

Did not feel safe to stay
Cons:

The comforters were so dirty and room stank, I wasn't even comfortable staying. I got a full refund. The people loitering made my child uncomfortable. There was only one employee around. When he left to do errands, I had to talk to the contractor to get ahold of the receptionist and wait around for him to come back on the property so I could get my refund and leave.

Disappointed, won't be back after staying here many times over the years.
Pros:

Close location to interstate and attractions. Staff was pleasant. I did get my refund quick with little effort.

Cons:

Room was not what I booked. No rooms available like I booked 3 months in advance. Was only a few cars in the parking lot, one silver Ford van was there when I was here 2 years ago. Of 6 nights stayed 1 and checked out. Room was dated, amenities were old, cigarette burns in bedding, bathroom fan made awful noise.

Nothing. It was nasty

Cons:

The bloodstains on the duvet, the cigarette burns in the sheets, the overall sketchy vibe, basically everything.
