Great for the price and location was safe.
Pros:

Everything was good especially for the price. Clean and had all the basics. Can’t complain!

The hotel overall met my needs.
Pros:

Reasonably priced. Fairly clean.

Cons:

Room was missing towel hook, something wrong with the bathtub. It looked like it had been worked on and fixed. The bottom of the tub was not flat.
The gym is extremely small and in front of a main hall with a big window. Only room in the “gym” for a treadmill and bike.

Cheap comfortable and had all we expected
Pros:

Very comfortable sheets, slept well. Aircon worked well

Cons:

Pool wasn’t open in the morning before checkout. Kids would’ve enjoyed that. Not sure why as no life guard anyway

Pros:

Location was great for what we were seeing/doing. Texas Roadhouse within walking distance. Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Only complaint was we were on the 2nd floor and the parking lot security light was shining directly into the room and there was no curtains to close to block out the light. The room was lit up all night.

As I walked into the room and did my inspection and prepared to clean there was a huge hole in the bathroom wall behind the door and the bath tub was disgusting.

I took photos (included below) and shared with the hotel staff and they were nonchalant, didn’t seem to care. I informed them most importantly because I wanted my deposit back and didn’t want to be blamed for the damage. I asked that staff (Louise or Louisa) make a note on my account about my concerns. The next morning when I checked out a different front desk staff was there and said there were not notes.

In addition, out of the outlets and USBs in the room only about 3 actually worked. The switch for the lamp over the sitting area was above the light itself. My 80 year old father who is 5’9” had to stand on his tip toes to reach the switch and turn the light on. You can only get into the bed on one side because they have a table/desk pressed against the other side of the bed.

Luckily I did get my deposit back. But I won’t be staying there again.

Comfort Suites was Awful
Cons:

Our room had so many problems from night one; a clogged toilet, the blow dryer was broken, the air didn't stay on, and the shower water had no pressure. Also, our room was not refreshed until much later on in the day, and never was on day 2. The breakfast room was a mess and the guests less than respectable. No carts, not enough towels, room was not refreshed until way later in the day; one day not at all....breakfast was a joke and the place was a mess...

Gastonia was great!!!
Pros:

It was located close to everything we needed! Stores were literally done the road. The wedding venue was literally down the road. Restaurants were everywhere!

Cons:

That I couldn't stay longer....
