Nice view
I stayed here 5 weeks ago and when we arrived they told us that a/c is being worked on on the first floor and it was SO HOT in the room (84°). I complained along with another guest. I told them they needed to put that on their website so people know before they book the room. The gal at the front desk said they would do that. I booked this room for my Mom and daughter this time. 5 weeks later....still no a/c!!!! $198 for a room that is hot af! To top it off, the toilet had not been cleaned from the previous person. There was dried pee all over the floor. I will not stay here again and will not recommend it.
The facility is very nice. It has a great breakfast. Beds were comfortable.
We were told about the issue with the air conditioning ahead of time but, I reserved a room with a balcony with the idea of being able to open a window or have a screened door to open. Our room was on the first floor with only a sliding glass door, no screen. So needless to say we did not leave it open for fresh air as we had planned being on the first floor looking out at the parking lot.
Nice location
Clean Room
Friendly staff
A little pricy ESPECIALLY
because AC was out
great breakfast great people in the dining area nice pool clean room
no AC with high 70 low 80's was given a box fan but no extension cord to reach sliding glass door. Was offered a reduction in fee but then when i came back was not available for a reduction. Light in bathroom did not work light around mirror was very dim
Beautiful hotel with no air never was told it is not working till Sept Room was 82 degrees Spoke with management nothing they could do but give you a fan and told to upon window NO PR
Location was great
Air conditioning didn't work, it was an 80° day, and they weren't willing to adjust the price. They did give us fans but it was still hot.
Clean, comfortable, hot tub, excellent polite staff, good view of the water front, nice building, decent breakfast.
Air conditioner was not working. But luckily, it was cool outside. They gave us a fan.
The hotel amenities
The a.c down in summer with no discount rates
Stayed 1 night on July 28, 2026. Do no stay here.
The bad:
1. No AC. This hotel has no AC since 2025, and has no plans to add one. But it doesn't say that during booking. They send you a message 5 days before the stay and says AC is broken and can waive fees if you cancel. But obviously it is too late to find another hotel. The temperature was only in the low 70s the day I stayed, but because the room faces west, it is very hot in the evening and night.
2. The hotel shower uses a very strange shampoo dispenser. The one in my room wasn't working properly, when I squeezed, it fell off and hit me in the eye. I had to sport a black eye for a week. You can see the picture I attached.
The good:
1. Good scenery, right beside a lake and has a nice trail.
Conclusion: Do not stay when temp is above 70 degrees because there is no AC. Careful when using the shampoo dispenser.
Located by the water
Air Conditioning in the rooms were not working. Room stayed at 80 degrees even with the box fan they made you carry to your room. Ice machine was not working and no signs to know where to find a working machine.
The pillows were comfortable and the staff truly do their best. The view is fantastic, but quite honestly this hotel does the land it's on an injustice. The view is so impressive, it's a shame that a functioning hotel isn't on the land.
I booked this room because I saw pictures of a beautiful jetted tub, a fireplace and a fantastic view. It looked like a great room for a weekend getaway on our 10 year anniversary. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk explained that the air conditioning had been broken for 3 weeks, but they could give us a fan. Its July, so that's kind of annoying, and 3 weeks feels like a long time for something to be out, but whatever. Then she explains that the Jacuzzi tub and the fireplace is broken. So now we have no air conditioning, no fireplace and no Jacuzzi tub. Im annoyed at this point, but fine, we go to the room anyway. That's where it goes from bad to worse. The carpet is a Petri dish of bacteria with stains that are so prevalent that its difficult to tell what's actually a pattern and whats a stain. And it seriously wouldn't have mattered if the Jacuzzi was broken or not, because the bathtub was disgusting and certainly not the one I saw in the picture a few months back. At this point I'm crying, we decide to go to the front desk, explain how dirty the room is, and see if there's a different room. There's not, they're all sold out. Fine, at least they have a cocktail lounge, so I ask the lady where it is. Oh, it's been closed for a long time. We decide to just go get dinner across the street, and the server asks if I'm alright because he can clearly see I'm crying. I explained what happened and he said "ohhhh that hotel is terrible. The AC has actually been broken for 3 months, but they tell everyone 3 weeks so it seems more reasonable that it's still broken." It turns out what they really do is turn the breakers off for anything that uses a lot of electricity so they save money. When we get back to the room, we were greeted with a toilet that was overflowing with bubbles, and the bathtub is nearly full of bubbles.
Very disappointed with the Ac not working also laundry facilities were out of service and the front desk didn’t inform us when they saw us heading to the elevator with the laundry. Almost got stuck in the elevator as the electricity kept flashing off and on. The worst part was that people don’t pick up after their dogs so the lawn was a mess.
On the bright side, the breakfast was good and the pool was open.
Very nice hotel with great staff at the front desk and breakfast area. Hotel location is well centered to many food options and sits next to a nice water inlet. You can easily see the tide movement. Fitness room is minimal. Swimming pool is adequate with a companion whirlpool …. Which is being dropped by many hotels. One of the best coffee/mocha/latte/chocolate etc machines available 24 hours a day. Nice area for a long walk. Again a great staff.
