Très bien situé, à deux pas du Vieux-Port et proche de la gare Saint-Charles, tout en restant calme.

Cons:

La porte de la salle de bains ne se fermait pas en raison d’un problème de poignée qui n’avait pas été réparé.
J’ai trouvé le prix de la chambre un peu élevé au regard des prestations proposées, surtout en comparaison avec d’autres hôtels de la ville de même catégorie

Excellent hotel for a short break in the heart of the Vieux Port
Pros:

I was very happy with my double room and good sized bathroom and the location in the heart of the Vieux Port with all the amenities near by. It was very easy to get to different parts of Marseille with the metro near the hotel and to go shopping on the Rue Canebiere. This hotel provides excellent toiletries and it was nice to have a bathrobe and slippers included. It was also nice to have water provided in the fridge and water to put in the kettle for tea and coffee.

La climatisation était en panne depuis plusieurs jours. On nous a prévenu en arrivant pour le check in à 23h. Nous avons était surpris de la question à l'accueil : "gardez vous la chambre ou allez vous ailleurs ?". Etant donné l'heure, nous n'avions pas le choix de la prendre et ́nous aurions pu faire différement si on nous avez prévenu avant... Bref, doute sur la véritable existence d'une climatisation dans un hôtel Marseillais 4☆
La literie est moyenne.
Le petit déjeuner est cher pour ce que c'est.

Wir waren mit mehreren Freunden da. Obwohl wir alle denselben Preis gezahlt haben und gleichzeitig gebucht hsbrn, hatten manche tollen Blick auf den Hafen, Balkon, geräumige Zimmer etc ( alles Paare), während wir, zwei Freundinnen, sehr kleines Zimmer hatten nach hinten mit Mauer in 1 m Abstand, keine Kaffeemaschine, nur Shampoo, kein Hairconditioner, kein separates WC etc. Und das ist uns ein paar Tage identisch nochmal passiert.

The staff were great! Super helpful and understanding of our school French. Jumping into English when needed and teaching us some new French words! Thank you Laura!
The rooms were not fancy or large…bijoux sums it up best! The bed was incredibly comfortable. And the location was literally beside, but not on the port. Breakfast was simple but well done with just the right amount of options.
While the building was undergoing some renovations the staff kept the dust at bay and there was no noise too early or too late.

Cons:

I found the street people in the square disquieting, especially the mom and toddler begging during the day. They stayed away from the entrance though and didn’t seem to hassle tourists.
