Great resort-style hotel with awesome pool, tennis courts & instructor
Pros:

This hotel has a great « resort atmosphere” to it, with one of the best pool areas I have seen in downtown hotels. And for tennis players, it has 4 very well maintained clay tennis courts. Rodolfo is a very friendly Tennis Pro instructor who offers top notch lessons for all levels in English or Spanish at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him and the hotel.

HOTEL TENIS COACH - RODOLFO.
Pros:

The hotel was nice, but my review is specifically about the tennis coach, Rodolfo.

He truly made my stay a unique and unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond to make sure I had fun both on and off the court. Every time we played, he introduced different activities, keeping things exciting and engaging. He also took the time to introduce me to people who helped me build a sense of community, so that if I ever decided to return to Santo Domingo, I would already feel connected.

Thanks to him, I will definitely be coming back. In fact, I have already booked my next trip and reserved more lessons with him.

I can honestly say that my experience would not have been the same without him. Thank you, Coach Rodolfo, for your dedication, kindness, and positive energy.

Never change.

Love Renaissance Jaragua !!
Pros:

Sorry for the late notes. My husband and I spent an incredible week at the Renaissance at the end of April. This property has become our "go-to" place for a quick easy getaway over the years. The hotel is truly resort-like but located in the middle of the city. It's hard not to enjoy all the amenities here, e.g the pool, spa, gym, tennis courts and the club lounge. We'd like to extend special thanks to the friendly pool guys Pablo and Castro who provide great service and seem to really enjoy their jobs. We'd also like to thank Rodolfo, the tennis pro who does his best to make time in his busy schedule for tennis with my husband. Peter always looks forward to playing with Rodolfo who is a great player. We would say this is the biggest draw for us (over the Sheraton), the tennis play availability. We can't wait for our next visit.
