Nope nope nope - if I were traveling with family I would stay far far far away from this property.
The pool area is nice and well kept. The hotel staff is very polite and professional.
The casino is dirty and an eyesore. Paper and dishes on the floor. It’s like nobody cares. I had no hot water to shower for two of my days. I was able to shower at the spa one day and another I just took a cold shower. The staff was nice but for this type of hotel, not great.
Ubicación y trato
Fuimos víctimas de un robo en nuestra maleta por parte de su personal y no han respondido.
Muy buena ubicación, servicio, limpieza. Muy buenas comidas y desayuno.
Kudos to the staff here at the Jaragua, especially Roxanna for the incredible service and care! The room looked as clean as new each time I entered.
Todo
Nada
All was good .
Big room ,big and comfortable bed ,clean ,personel
La ubicación, seguridad, facilidades son excelentes . La fiesta de despedida de año fue extraordinaria.
First let me start by saying I am a Platinum Elite member with Bonvoy Marriott. I fill out the amenities card for my complimentary Wine and cheese tray upon check, to this day which is 3 days in the amenities never arrived. There executive lounge and empty, dirty and useless because there is never anything good in there. Lastly you go to the Bar to enjoy a shot of Don Julio and they charge you 1,500 pesos which is equivalent to 25 USD which is the highest in the area of any Hotel and the quality has consistently gone town hill. The only pleasant experience here is the Front Desk staff, Milagros and Orlando are great and the entire Bellman staff are top notch beyond that there is nothing. I have been traveling to this hotel for years and can say the hotel is going down, you see an obvious degrade and it seems there is new executive management that isn’t re-investing in the Guest experience. This will be my last stay unfortunately at this hotel. Everything is outdated and you can obviously notice they’re not re-investing in their guest experience. This is sad as this was once the stellar of Santo Domingo. I can honestly say the Hotel Embajador has them beat by a mile.
