Very convenient to Philly airport
It would be nice if they had coffee in the lobby before they start the breakfast at 6. Other airport hotels at least have coffee ready at 5:30 am
Location, cleanliness
I paid too much for the time that I needed. For one day, which I only used about 10 hours there of and then all I needed was a cup of coffee in the morning and found out at 1 o’clock in the morning that the coffee pot was missing a cartridge to Brew in room. When I called downstairs, they said oh we have those here at the desk you would have to come down and get that. Staff was kind enough to send up the cartridge, but they didn’t fit the coffee pot. Ridiculous for 1 o’clock in the morning while getting ready to catch an early flight. Again, staff was kind enough to have coffee downstairs for me to grab before I left. Other than that, as long as you’re not a coffee lover in the morning to get you going, all was well.
After arriving after midnight and having to leave at 8am, my daughter and I were counting on being able to have some coffee and breakfast there in the morning, but the restaurant was closed because th person who was supposed to be opening didn't show up to work. That was disappointing, and the staff didn't offer anything to help us out.
Comfy / clean king bed. Very close to airport. Airport shuttle 24/7 with nice folks running it. Concrete hotel construction so noise was somewhat muted. Front desk folks were nice. Room fridge. The HVAC system did not have the all too familiar ‘I’m overworked and under-cleaned smell’. King room had a small sofa bed. Good amount of outlets for charging.
Room could have been cleaner in spots, but overall not bad. Their in room coffee makers were missing filter attachment. The front desk said they did away with them to stop in room brewing. Ok, then why still have the maker in room and supply coffee/tea? A bit overpriced for short term overnight stays looking to fly out. Pretty average to bad TV. The furniture and its placement cramped the already small room a bit. Kept hitting things in the way. Elevator is weird, a little slow, then stops on 1st floor awhile, deciding what to do, then realizes it should open the door.
Convenient spot for overnight layover between two connecting flights
We reserved a shuttle to airport at 3:30 and when we had arrived at 3:32 the shuttle had left and the front desk hadn’t even given us a courtesy call
The shuttle to the airport is nice
You have to pay for parking
Our stay at Sonesta Suites Philadelphia Airport came during a very stressful time after our flights back to the UK were cancelled, and I cannot speak highly enough of how the hotel and, especially, the staff supported us over the two nights we stayed.
From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble. The team genuinely understood that guests were dealing with disrupted travel plans and went out of their way to make a difficult situation feel manageable and calm. Every interaction felt thoughtful, patient and genuinely caring.
A special mention must go to Joe from the shuttle team, who went above and beyond to help us get supplies when options were limited. He made sure our children were looked after and had everything they needed, which made a huge difference during an uncertain time. His kindness and willingness to help did not go unnoticed.
Tamika was also outstanding. She ensured our entire stay ran smoothly from start to finish, always approachable, professional and reassuring. Her attention to detail and warm attitude turned what could have been a very stressful experience into one that felt organised and supported.
The hotel itself was comfortable and well suited to families, but it was truly the staff who made this stay exceptional. When travel plans fall apart, you remember the people who help you through it, and the team here did exactly that.
Thank you to everyone at Sonesta Suites Philadelphia Airport for your care, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
Needs a bar!

A bar would be great!
Room, bathroom and wifi were great. Staff was also friendly at front desk.
I originally was given a not yet done room. Was quite dirty. The lady at the desk corrected herself quickly. The clean room was perfect so I guess it was a mistake originally. Other than that my stay was great.
There were signs for vending machines, but there were none.
