After driving six hours from Niagara Falls, NY, I arrived expecting a clean, non-smoking room. Instead, it reeked of cigarettes. The carpet was heavily stained with chewing gum stuck to it, the sofa was dirty, the bathtub was stained, and the overall condition was unacceptable. I had to spray deodorant just to make the room tolerable enough to rest before continuing my road trip. To make matters worse, the laundry machines didn't work. This was worse than many motels I've stayed in. Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable.

The location the staff and the room

Cons:

There were multiple people standing outside their rooms smoking weed. My grandson did not need to be around that especially since no one in our family smokes weed. It may be legal but uncalled for. There was also two young girls unsupervised in the pool that were just plain rude and inconsiderate. They jumped in almost on top of my 5 year old grandson they took his toys that he was playing with and threw them out of the pool. They said very mean things and we left the pool area because my grandson was upset. Again they were about 10 to 14 years old with no patent or guardian in sight.

The room reeked of skunk weed. They had cockroaches. It was dirty. The staff was rude. The woman who checked me in had rotted teeth and smelled like she hadn't bathed in a week. I booked through booking.com and then the hotel also charged me. So I got double charged.

The cleanliness was extremely poor. Everything was dirty, and although the hotel claims to be smoke-free, people were smoking throughout the property. The carpet was filthy it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or vacuumed in years. This was a seriously disappointing experience and not what I expected from a Quality Inn. I’m surprised they would put their name on a property in this condition.

Pros:

I have stayed at this location before. In comparison to previous stays the breakfast is on a downhill slide. Less selection, offerings were the same both days, eggs were cold and OJ was bitter.

Cons:

While your rooms are non- smoking, you allow your guests to smoke to smoke outside the doors to their rooms. You actually encourage this by providing "butt buckets" for their use which they do not use. Butts litter the sidewalk and parking area all around.
