Mountain Modern Resort Sedona

Very up to date look, clean and very well maintained. The room was spectacular and very nicely decorated. The lobby, pool area and restaurant/bar was extremely inviting.

Loved the room, spacious and comfortable

This property was easy to find, in an excellent location, and the room was well appointed. We really liked that our room had a living room space, a kitchenette, and a bedroom space.

Staff, pool and hot tub, beds were comfortable, restaurant excellent.

Pros: This is in a great location right off the main hwy in Sedona, 89A. The rooms are nicely decorated and very roomy. The staff is great and will work hard for your needs.

Cons: Like the title says, the designers put form over function. For example, there are no places to hang towels in the bathroom. There's at least 7 feet of wall space with nothing but saguaro wallpaper. There is one hook, period, next to the shower. No hooks or towel bars in the next to the sink or shower. If you and your significant other have doc kits, only one can hang at a time, and you'll be putting your towels over the shower stall or on the "Gear" hooks in the living area. There's a wireless phone charger, but only on one side of the bed, because everyone knows that couples only have one phone... The table in the living area is screwed down to the floor. Do NOT walk into it in the middle of the night! With things glued or screwed down, to avoid theft, the frig slides halfway out, into the hall when ever you try to open the door. The decoration is very cool, which is, I'm sure, the goal of the decorator. I just wish they would have thought a little more practically when putting together these rooms.

This is in a great location right off the main hwy in Sedona, 89A. The rooms are nicely decorated and very roomy. The staff is great and will work hard for your needs.

Located in a good location. Hotel staff was extremely polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, although I feel the wait staff needs a bit more training. The rooms were clean and large. We did not request or require a joining room but received one. We noticed that the door that separates the joining rooms are very thin and not sound proof. You could hear the other guests full conversation, the baby crying and dog barking all through the night. Although it was a nice hotel if I stay here again I would request not getting a joining room, hoping not all the rooms are.

They’ve done a good job turning this into a modern-Sedona feel hotel. Lots of things we liked about it that we didn’t expect. The bar & grill was also a pleasant surprise. Great food and service! Also, a few fun things in the room that add to the feel such as the word search on the wall.

Surprisingly loved this place and the staff. Breakfast was great, room and location as well. Had a hard day getting to the destination and not in a great mood and the surprise of great staff, room, food made everything a bit better to end the day

We loved staying at this nicely updated and quiet hotel. High marks for a comfortable bed and beautifully updated rooms. We appreciated the friendly and professional staff. The continental breakfast was good and offered nice options to augment to a full breakfast.

The service and food were great and the location was perfect for hiking and uptown shopping.

The staff was fun and very knowledgeble of the area.

It was a great experience for the price point. They even had a Chakra reader come in and some other complimentary activities. While we did not have a dog, we walked around the enclosed dog park behind the property and it was super cute. This wasn't the high end Sedona hotel, but for the price it was great. It was just at the entrance to town, so away from the touristy area. There were one or two restaurants within walking distance, but you are walking on a main road. The room was quite large. The sink is not in the bathroom, it was in the kitchenette area and is more like a kitchen sink.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Mountain Modern. Shout out to the overnight front desk associate who accommodated us when we arrived in the middle of the night. Yummy breakfast that we even grabbed to go very early on a few mornings on our way to hike. Clean rooms and great location just outside of the touristy area, which we appreciated. It was quiet. We will be back!

My new favorite spot to stay in Sedona - I will be staying here now on. Hotel staff were so friendly and lovely and the rooms were so clean
