Modern, updated rooms with a nice balcony to get some fresh air. Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean and updated. Pool clean and hot tub a nice bonus after long day. Food okay. Staff friendly. Good location.

The room was well appointed and clean.

Overall stay was good. I appreciated the modern decor and comfort of the room. I especially liked the pillows, each person could have two which is not common with other places. Communication and location was great.

We liked that there were breakfast options on site! The hotel offered a free continental option as well as a credit to your breakfast if you order another option. We loved our large room!

A gem of a hotel. Rooms were on the small side but the thoughtful design ensured that we had everything we needed. Too many lovely details to mention them all, but kudos to whomever was in charge of the design. The Den (restaurant/lobby) was terrific. Breakfast was fresh and a very good value for the quality. Staff were attentive and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Great Find in Sedona!
If you are looking for a place to stay in Sedona that offers a perfect blend of comfort and convenience without the hassle of the main tourist drags, Mountain Modern Hotel is the spot. I traveled with my wife a 2 young kids and another family of 4. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and, most importantly, uncrowded. The entire property from the lobby to the rooms, were impressively clean and well-maintained, providing a peaceful home base.

The amenities and all staff really elevated the experience for us. We started every morning with their excellent breakfast (very reasonably priced) options, which offered enough variety to keep everyone satisfied before heading out for the day. Its location is a major plus as well; it’s situated right near a small shopping area, making it easy to stroll over for a quick find or a bit of local flavor without needing to drive across town.

Whether you are traveling as a couple looking for a quiet getaway or bringing the whole family along, this hotel strikes the right balance. It is remarkably quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day of exploring the red rocks. I give it a full 5 stars—if you’re planning a trip to Sedona, definitely stay here!

BTW, we had a jeep rental and they left a rubber duck on our windshield. Such a nice touch!

Stayed at this property for 3 days in late March. The location is great, and our room was quiet (Bldg 5), despite some other comments I've read about the noise level here. The bedroom area is quite nice and updated, while the mattress was quite comfortable. There's an odd sink (similar to those you see at the beach for cleaning fish) outside the bathroom area, while the toilet and shower are enclosed, separate from the sink area. This was my biggest critique of the room. The toilet/shower area is 'extremely' small (one person at a time), while the shower itself was very narrow with an outdated shower head that provided very little water pressure. Again, the room itself seemed updated, but the toilet/shower area are quite old and outdated - blah! The only other gripe here is The Den area for dining. While the employees that were working each day were very friendly, they are 'woefully' understaffed here. Prepare to spend an hour (at least) here for breakfast - even for the continental breakfast offering. I cannot understand why they can't hire just ONE more person to assist during breakfast hour - that would alleviate the issue, I'm sure. Very frustrating, each and every morning.
