Excellent value for money in a prime location in London. Room was piped hot with heating at this cold time of year

Cons:

Value for money it is I think more attention should be made to the furniture and fittings. The hotel corridors look like they were painted in the dark with an aerosol can and are actually quite dirty. My bathroom door only appeared to only have one hinge holding it on but I'll say no more on my overall acceptance of the place which I will return to

I rarely write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to warn future guests about the appalling state of this property. What I encountered was not just below expectations—it was genuinely distressing and, in my view, unfit for human habitation.
The room was in a state of extreme deterioration and neglect. The curtains were filthy and greasy, the lights were broken, and the television was tiny with a missing remote control. The bathroom was shockingly dirty, with blackened, rotten mastic sealant that had clearly been neglected for years. There was only one small bar of soap—not even enough to properly wash your hands—and nothing else provided. The bathroom appeared centuries old and was so disgusting that I couldn’t bring myself to shower.
While the bed had clean sheets, it was extremely uncomfortable. The entire property—from the entrance and reception area to the corridors and lift—showed signs of severe neglect and abandonment.
What I found most disturbing was that the management considered this acceptable to rent to paying guests. The claustrophobic, semi-destroyed conditions made my stay genuinely traumatic.
I cannot understand how anyone could present this establishment as suitable accommodation and charge money for it. This is possibly the first review I’ve ever written, but the conditions were so shocking that I felt obligated to warn others. Please avoid this property.

Pros:

Shaban was incredibly professional and attentive, answering all of my questions with knowledgeable insights about the hotel and surrounding area. He went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Very excellent hospitality and I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable stay.
