Lovely outside area
Clean
Boiling hot in our room - no fan
Towel rail left on full despite asking for it to be tuned off.
Temp outside was +30
Very comfortable room, staff really friendly and attentive
Location was great as we were walking the South Downs Way. Food was excellent.
Breakfast started too late in the morning for walkers. The service was a bit messed up.
Sehr gutes Restaurant
Recht enges Zimmer
everything
I don't want to be faced wth an a la carte english breakfast that equates to a 22 pound cost - nonsense - it lets everything down - 2x poached eggs 8.5 + sausage 4 +bcaon 4 - tomato - 2, blackpudding - 2 hashbrown - 2 = £22.50 - this is not a five star hotel - with that - calm the farm. Otherwise faultless
Location food and friendly staff
Nothing
Character pub with superb dining and comfortable rooms.
Nothing
Recently refurbished to a high standard. Great restaurant and outdoor bbq and garden.
Recently renovated, with a restaurant which opened 6 weeks ago where we had a delicious meal. The pub is located in the most beautiful village. Staff were friendly! Our room was comfortable and a good shower.
There were a few teething issues, not enough hotel staff, so they were rushed off their feet and missed a few things. Expensive breakfast, but it was delicious. We were told our room would be freshened up, but it wasn't. When we tried to check in for the standard check-in time of 3pm, our room wasn't ready, and other people's cases were in our room. Dirty towels, plates, and paperwork were left in the hallway, etc. With that in mind, it was an expensive stay for what it was.
Skip to 6 months from now, once the staff have found their feet and I'm sure it would be a perfect stay.
Very welcoming, nice change to hostels on south downs way which we were walking!
Cosy pub and hotel with friendly and helpful staff
Bit of a squeeze to get into the room, as door only partially opens onto the bed
Really wonderful restaurant and breakfast. Lovely kind staff. Nicely modern fixtures
