Not worth the extra money.

Half of the lobby was covered up with plastic due to a water leak that caused damage and is being repaired. My room had no heat, I notified the front desk, she informed me she could let me change rooms once, but the whole system was down, so there would be no heat in any rooms until the morning. It was 62 degrees when I went to sleep, 60 degrees when I woke up. Then I went to warm up in the shower, and the water was a little above lukewarm. This should have been made known to me immediately upon checking in. Maybe offer a discount because your entire lobby is under construction, and you have no heat or hot water…

The staff acted like they would be helpful with me receiving a refund, but nobody answered the phone when my booking agency called them twice- 5 minutes after I had a conversation with them.

The property was aesthetically pleasing and had a nice restaurant.

Cons:

The heat in the rooms was unbearable. It was up to 85 in the room. Air conditioning was not cooling. Had to stay somewhere else

Restful and peaceful!
Pros:

The balcony was great we loved it. Also, the card and the floors were a nice touch for our anniversary, we wife appreciated that so thank you. We would have taken them with but we leave the country on Monday.

Cons:

I was suprised that the bed didn’t have good sharp corners. We ve never stayed in a Marriott hotel before so it might be the norm idk- was just suprised to see it like that.

Fantastic location, beautiful hotel !!!
Pros:

Location was perfect a block from the Amtrak station. Hotel is beautiful and amenities were fantastic.

Cons:

The restaurant needs improvement. New staff and food was bland. The bar downstairs was AWESOME and friendly.
