Pros:

The shower pressure. The unique decor that is true to the building and the historical significance. Easy valet. Comfortable beds. Very spacious. The unexpected thing was that the temperature control or climate control was the best I have seen at any hotel ever.

Cons:

The lady at the front desk was not very friendly. In contrast to the rest of the staff.
They do not have lotion or make up remover like other Marriots have had. The brand makes you expect consistency with things like that. And it is important to know when you travel the televisions need some work.

Awful. Will not be back.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. The location was convenient.

Cons:

The bathroom light didn't work unless the rest of the room lights were on. The hot water did not work during our stay. The room smelled like cigarettes, and the lady that checked us in was SO RUDE. The valet driver also called my mom names under his breath and then denied it. The hotel told us that the valet drivers have nothing to do with them.

Horrible customer service

We spent 1.5 hrs on the phone between the hotel and booking.com. There was no reservations and the hotel pushed us off on booking.com to resolve ourselves when it was their system issue. We finally cancelled the reservation and received a refund. Then we asked if we could book direct and they couldn’t do that either even with open rooms. Same for 5 or 6 other groups while we waited regardless of how they booked. The one staff member on site was no help and basically said we needed to call booking.com on our own. She then went back into the office and proceeded to eat her dinner. The one family that was able to check in came back down claiming they were given a room already occupied. No more Marriotts for us in the near future!! Will also start booking direct through the hotels as cleaning the charges up was a nightmare.

My stay was great, its resolving an issue that has been frustrating.
Pros:

The amenities and location were incredible

Cons:

I have been trying to get a refund for a single room for over a month now. The process to do this is beyond frustrating and I have not been given a single answer to resolve my issue. I am sent back and forth between both Booking.com and Springhill Suites. It is a vague and complicated policy and process to deal with this.

It was very cute

Cons:

Bed wasn’t comfortable, couch wasn’t comfortable and trundle mattress felt like I was sleeping on the concrete.
