eL Hotel Yogyakarta Malioboro

Great location, straight onto Jalan Malioboro. Liked the friendly valet with the pointy hat. :). All round very happy with the service and facilities.

The interior is nice; the lobby is spacious, comfortable, and has plenty of sofas for resting or waiting for a pickup. However, I found that the air conditioning in the hotel was not very cold, including in the room. For a 4-star hotel, there should be a stronger point in this aspect.
The food is excellent overall, starting from the breakfast to the restaurant menu. And 24-hour service? That’s great!
The bathroom has both hot and cold water. A handheld bidet (water gun) might be optional, but there is also a bidet spray available. Overall, good.

Quite compact room but everything worked, excellent swimming pool, vast buffet breakfast and helpful front of house staff.

the best hotel location... just walk about 50 mtr and you will arrived at malioboro road... enjoy your day and night there.. and the room was very clean and complete with all the amenities.. no need to worry. we also get a bucket fruit, and drop service to the rain station... the staff excellent... full with smile and give us good service also. the breakfast no complain at all... minority to do for the hotel team is the clean of room's hallway from the tableware equipment..overall.. this hotel is very excelent

A place is a very suitable place with family and close to the center of Yogyakarta city, Malioboro and the place is clean, the employees are friendly and polite

I had a wonderful stay at eL Hotel Malioboro Yogyakarta. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Malioboro Street, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The check-in process was smooth, and they made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the amenities were complete, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout my stay.
Breakfast was great with a good variety of dishes, both local and international. The taste and presentation were impressive.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Yogyakarta—great service, great location, and great value. I would definitely stay here again!

Went to this place with my mom as our yearly trip. Compared to the last year (we visited another hotel - more expensive), El Hotel offers better service 😂 👍🏼 Staff, Room, food and ACCESS are top notch especially if yall love to stroll around in Malioboro. I definitely will get back or even try other branch of this hotel. Shoutout to ALL OF THE STAFF. From FO, to security all 👌🏼 Ps. Please keep the Nasi Goreng Teri. The picture aint related since I took it from my room on 5th floor.

There is no doubt that this is a hotel at a reasonable price. The location is good if you like shopping at the nearby Main Street of Malioboro. But the rooms are small and simple. The restaurant for dinner and bar area pretty uninspiring with very poor service. The breakfast had a good selection and would suggest including it in your stay.
