Needs improvements
Pros:

The location was great, staff super friendly, and the lobby was clean

Cons:

Lobby market was bare of food and drinks, what they did offer was expensive. But worst of all was the condition of the room. It seems clean and new but there were a lot of broken items in the room. The shower head was broken, the automatic blinds broke so we were forced to have our window open the whole time there. But what made us not want to stay there was the air conditioner in the room. Even when set at the lowest setting (65) the room stayed at 78 degrees. On a HOT Texas day/ night it was hard to feel comfortable in the room but most of all it was hard to sleep. Super hot and uncomfortable night.

for the nightly pricing I expected more amenities .
Pros:

the property had games in the lobby and pool table, also was in a central area . The staff was pleasant .

Cons:

I did not have breakfast at the facility . My air conditioner was set at 65 but the room was warm . The lights located at the vanity area would not come on when Inwent to brush my teeth finally before I left I tried again they came on. The rooms do not have microwaves which was a bummer.

Perfect place for a stay-cation.
Pros:

I have very few negative things to say about my stay at the Aloft. It was basically a stay-cation for me so I will DEFINITELY be back. The lobby area is very classy and modern. They had alot of children there during my stay and ofcourse they wanted to be in the pool. I appreciated the seperate patio/ bar area to sit outside to have a drink. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any questions I had. The rooms were very cute. I had a king suite and it was equipped with a litte fridge as well as a safe and coffee maker. I loved the blackout drapes. The bed was SO comfortable I slept so well while I was there!

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that I purchased breakfast with my stay and expected- IDK - something different. I am not sure if it was because it was the weekend. There is a menu posted with maybe 5-6 options that includes mostly prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, egg bites, and bagels. I believe the only prepared item on the menu was a chorizo and egg burrito. I did get it both days because it was cooked when ordered. It was pretty good though. I just wish they would let you know that paying extra for breakfast is a bit misleading since there isn't actually ''a breakfast''. It's actually a small menu that you can choose items from and either eat in the lobby or take back to your room. My limit was $20 and each item was $5 - $10. This isn't terrible I guess - just a bit misleading. Also, my only other complaint is one - ply toilet tissue. A hotel who offers in shower shampoo, conditioner, and body wash I think can offer better than 1-ply toilet tissue. I mean... come on.

Pros:

The plugs in our room table didn't work so the gentlemen at the front desk switched us to a room woth working plugs. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons:

The shampoo had barely anything in it. One person with short hair was the only one who got to wash hair

The Aloft was a nice, clean place in a good location, but they need some better pillows.
Pros:

The room was nice and I like that I was able to be trusted with a real thermostat (meaning, not one that turns on the heat if you bump the temperature up more than 2 degrees).

Cons:

The pillows were like clouds. Which sounds nice until you try to sleep on them; all the contents separate to the ends and it feels like there's nothing there. Stacking another one top somehow makes it feel like there's 3 of them under there.
