Just finishing four nights at this Marriott. Having stayed nearly 100 nights in Marriott’s in the past year, I can say with confidence that this one stands among the best I’ve stayed at. The property is pristine without being sterile. It maintains efficiency without feeling like an assembly line. The service, especially at the Lounge, makes you feel like you are doing the staff a big favor for allowing them to serve you. I would like to give my special thanks to Ajay for his relentless enthusiasm. The breakfast, room service and restaurants provide both quality, tastiness and novelty. Particularly coming off the EBC trek, this Marriott feels like a gift to yourself.

I stay approximately 100-120 a year at Marriotts.
Just spent 3 days at the Kathmandu Marriott and have to put it at the top of the list after this stay.
The rooms are perfect as well as the views.
Beds and pillows are so comfortable.
The service is exceptional from the front desk, all the restaurants and especially all the staff in the M Club lounge.
Exceptional is all I can say for all the staff who work the lounge.
Nothing has been too much for any and all requests.
Myself and my son are off today to do the EBC trek and on our return have 5 more days at the Kathmandu Marriott on our return.
Looking forward to another massage in the spa once we return from our trek.
I hardly ever leave reviews, but this one is well deserved.

Great hotel and very well positioned, the food is really good but what really makes a difference is the team at this hotel. I have to mention Menuka who made us feel very welcome in the bar area and showed a genuine interest in our trip as well as suggesting new areas to explore and tempting us with new dishes to try-she really went the extra mile and we truly appreciated her friendliness. Also up in the Tahina restaurant with an excellent choice of foods and drinks, Tsuldim was super! So friendly and helpful. Thank you!

We stayed 6 nights at this wonderful hotel while visiting Kathmandu. I found this hotel due to all the highly rated reviews on TripAdvisor and google maps. The location, cost, and added perks were the reason I ended up booking. Our hotel rate included round trip airport transportation, 3 pieces of laundry each day, breakfast, and a few other things. Let’s start with the room, it was spotless and very spacious. I thought the beds were rather comfortable, especially for this area in Asia. The breakfast at this hotel is AMAZING, probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. Such a huge variety, and I especially enjoyed the local dishes they changed up daily. We enjoyed hanging out at the rooftop pool, however the pool itself was very cold and we did not get in it (it also wasn’t overly hot while we were there). Staff were all friendly and helped us with everything we needed, including making us a box breakfast the morning we left early for the airport. The hotel is a little walk to Thamel. When walking, you should walk on the North side of the street, you cross 2 less intersections this way. With that said, you do cross 2 very busy intersections when you walk to Thamel. We did it at least once everyday and it was fine. If you have not been to Nepal or Vietnam, I recommend reading up on how to cross busy streets (spoiler alert, there are no traffic lights). With that said, it is very nice being away from the very busy part of the city, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful. My only feedback for this hotel is that our laundry came back damp several times, and did not dry very well due to the humidity and therefore ended up smelling moldy. We would absolutely stay here if we ever come back to Kathmandu and I highly recommend it.

While bringing takeaway food back to the hotel, I accidentally spilled sauce all over my legs. I would like to sincerely thank Sujit, Umesh, and Mamata for their prompt assistance in rewrapping the food and helping me clean up. The hotel team delivered excellent service.

Been 40 years since my last trip to Nepal. Like the fact there is a modern hotel and food I can eat. It was conveniently located near to the airport. Maybe if you had more information about the area places to go etc.. Shopping mall inside the hotel was great especially the mounteering equipments.

Amazing hospitality, all the staff were fantastic, in particular Pravakar whose service and attention to detail with us was impeccable and Sandip who made us feel extremely welcome. Luxurious stay, with many food and beverage options. Thank you all, can’t wait to come back

Accueil avec un portier qui s’occupe de nos sacs à dos jusque dans la chambre et petit jus d'orange de bienvenue lors du check in.

Chambre spacieuse et confortable, nous avons particulièrement apprécié les oreillers !!!

Nous attendions avec impatience le buffet du petit déjeuner et mon dieu que c’était délicieux. Du sucré, du salé, des fruits, des légumes, des plats népalais, des chutneys, du fromage, des croissants et pain au chocolat, des cakes, toutes sortent d’œufs, des condiments confits... en veux tu en voilà, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Nous nous sommes régalés et le personnel est très accueillant.

During time I was stay at this hotel for 3 nights one thing I can say it was one of a good service from a local staffs at M lounge. Very friendly and helpful thanks to Miss Sorija and Mr.Suraj.
