Too expensive for what you get .
Pros:

Very close to lift . Really close actually

Cons:

No parking . Breakfast it’s ok and very busy in the morning with coffee ordinary. Rooms are nosy and you can ear other drunk guests . Occasional smell of sewage . Dinner below average for what you pay.

Mixed views.
Pros:

It's a decent enough hotel in a great location and the skiing is good in Cernvinia. The staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant provides decent half-board. The rooms a re small but functional. Hot tip, if you are offered the 'Suite' as an upgrade say no. The room is right at the top of the hotel and is a coverted attic store room. It's cold and the lift is right by the bed and dings loudly every time it is used. There are also a couple of steps that could be dangerous in the dark. You are far better off, warmer and safer in the other rooms.

Pros:

Aveva una magnifica veduta sul monte Cervinia

Cons:

Purtroppo la struttura è sprovvista di parcheggio
E il primo parcheggio gratuito è molto lontano
Quello più vicino costa 1.50 l’ora

Great value for money stay, for a ski in Cervinia.
Pros:

The hotel has a perfect location - very close to the ski lifts. The room was good, with most useful things and amenities. The hotel has breakfast restaurant, bar, ski room and changing room.

Cons:

There is only paid parking nearby (it's not hotel's fault). The breakfast is good, although rather the same everyday.

Mixture of good and Bad.
Pros:

Our room (212) was very disappointing, really small and no view whatsoever apart from a brick wall. The allocation seems to be very unfair as are friends were in a suite on the top floor. The ‘free’ wine is capped at 1Lt for 4 people then we were told we needed permission for more which is hardly unlimited. The food was quite good but the hot breakfast items were only lukewarm. Location for the cable car to Plan Maison is very good. On our last morning we were rudely awoken by someone entering our room at 5am and then the cleaning of rooms above us meant we couldn’t get back to sleep. Beware, Cervinia is an expensive resort. I wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Great hotel, well situated & good value
Pros:

Visited the hotel from 28th December 2025 - 4th January 2026. If you want a 5 star experience, book a 5 star hotel, don't stay here and whinge about. However if you want value for money and a nice, clean & tidy hotel with lovely staff and a great view of the mountains, you'll be happy here. It's ideally situated for the ski lifts, literally over the road, the rooms are well kept, clean and in good condition. The food is adequate and varied and there is always a good choice. They put on free wine with dinner, the waiting staff are lovely as well as attentive, and after a days skiing there is a great welcome in the bar from Christian, who we really liked, as well as free tea, coffee, snacks and sweet treats.

The lady on reception always had a smile on her face whenever you walked past and when we needed help with a room key issue and the safe, they were both sorted out quickly and without fuss.

The only negative was the ski hire shop below the hotel. Ski's weren't in great condition. I would hire elsewhere if I stayed again. Can't comment on the boots as I have my own.

We would stay again and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

Thank you to all of the staff, we couldn't fault you

Fabulous
Pros:

The best ski hotel we have ever stayed at!
The Bar Man Cristian was an absolute gem - such a great guy and delicious custom cocktails. Food was fantastic and the New Years Eve appetiser buffet was sensational. The free wine with dinner was a great touch. Lovely rooms, very clean and spacious.
Only negative is the ski hire attached to hotel (not sure if this is associated with hotel or not) but we waited 2 hours on the first day despite pre-booking.

Super spot - would recommend
Pros:

Super hotel just at the bottom of the slopes at the plan maison lift. It is close to the town- a 5 minute walk has you at the shops and centre. The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. We borrowed our skis from the ski shop and they were very obliging when my son switched between skis and snow board through the week (small fee applied). The rooms were spacious. We had the family room for 4 which was actually had a separate bed room within the room and had two bathrooms (both with a bath-albeit one was a mini bath!) this was better than expected as we expected to have all 4 beds in one room-our teenagers were pleased to have their own space.
Our rooms were tidied and a quick clean completed every day. We had very good nights sleep with no noise from any other rooms and so we were all set for skiing every day! The coffee/hot chocolate and snacks / cakes the afternoons gives a really friendly atmosphere after good fun on the slopes and the chance to meet up with other guests. There were plenty of board games available for everyone to use and we enjoyed using the pool table for small charge. Food at Dinner and breakfast was really good. Plenty of it and good quality. Fresh ingredients and lovely salads made for excellent wholesome food - you might be tired after skiing but there’s no excuse for being hungry!! We were there over Christmas Day and the gala meal was delicious- Felt special yet familiar with efforts being made to get all the favourite elements! Absolutely would recommend and would definitely consider returning. Super hotel in an excellent resort.

Fantastic hotel - The pictures do not do it justice
Pros:

Stayed for a week. The food was consistently fantastic. I could not fault a single meal. The external photos do not do the place justice, it is a 100m walk from the main lift station entrance and 400m from the town. We has a superb view of the Matterhorn from our rooms. Our room was exceptional. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. We'll stay again.

Great location and good value
Pros:

I chose the Petit Palais as part of a Crystal Ski holiday with my son. We had a great week in Cervinia, which the hotel contributed to significantly and I would recommend it quite happily.
The best parts were the location (a very short walk from the main lift), the breakfast & evening meals (lots of choice and very good quality, including wine for free) and the relaxed atmosphere.
The things to note are that our twin room was quite small, the shower was always hot but lacked space, there was a fridge in the room but it didn’t keep anything cold (we used the window ledge) and the on site ski hire wasn’t as well stocked as other options. There was a safe in the room but it was tiny. The hotel provided ‘afternoon drinks’ (from a machine) with some food, but that was mainly cold leftovers from breakfast and not very appetising.
It would have been good to have a kettle in our room so that we could make ourselves a drink when we got back from the slopes.

Good location for skiing but food terrible
Pros:

We visited the hotel in March 25 and one of the reasons we rebooked for Dec was the ski location and facilities but also the food but unfortunately they have changed how they do the restaurant and it’s not for the better. Service is poor, the buffet style completely ruins how special this was, the food is cold, often dry or run out and it’s a bit of a free for all instead of serving the 5 courses to your table in order which was amazing. It’s really let the hotel down and we won’t be booking again for this reason.
