Average Stay with some improvements needed
Pros:

The hotel is a bit farther from VA Beach, but I mainly picked it because I needed a pit stop before heading to my next destination. The keycard cover was broken, and the fridge was completely dented when I arrived. Besides that, the room was clean and well-organized. I notified hotel management about this situation and hope they will look into my case.

We had a wonderful stay, with a beautiful and spacious room, and we will definitely return.
Pros:

Beautiful property!! I also loved that the room included a kitchen! Our family has multiple food allergies, so this option allows us to prepare our own food without concern of cross contamination. The fitness center was one of the best in any hotel we’ve stayed in before!

Cons:

The pool closed at 10pm

Decent
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Element Hampton Peninsula Town Center and overall had a pretty good experience. The location is one of the hotel’s strongest features. It’s conveniently located near plenty of restaurants, shopping, and other amenities, making it easy to find something to do or grab a meal without traveling far. The hotel is also situated near Peninsula Town Center, which adds to the convenience.
The rooms were comfortable and the property was generally clean and well maintained. One improvement I would suggest is adding shower caddies or shelves in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a convenient place to store shampoo, conditioner, and other shower products, which made the shower experience a little awkward.

The biggest area needing attention is customer service. Front desk staff, particularly Kat, could benefit from additional customer service training. First impressions matter, and interactions at the front desk can have a significant impact on a guest’s overall experience.

Despite those concerns, the hotel itself is decent, and the location makes it a solid option when visiting Hampton. With some improvements in customer service and a few small room upgrades, this could easily be a much better guest experience.

Nice and clean, but will not stay again.
Pros:

Most of the staff was very friendly: however, a housekeeping lady wasn't so friendly. The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, and I liked the walk in shower and the sink being included in the private bathroom.

Cons:

I did not like that dogs were allowed and there was one in the adjoining room that barked a lot. There were people running and talking loud right outside of our room both nights. I complained to the front desk and the lady who answered said they were on it; however, the running in the hall and loud talking resumed about an hour later. People with pets and children should be located in a certain section on the first floor so the upper floors can be reserved for people who want piece and quiet during their stay.

I also didn't like that the TV was facing the bed and could only be slightly turned to face the sofa, which made it uncomfortable to watch TV while relaxing on the sofa. I also didn't like the studio style of the room with the kitchen, bed and sitting area all in the same space.

The directions for the room numbers where wrong causing us to walk a very long way to get to our room with the elevators only being located in one area. I accidentally went the wrong way (I thought) off the elevator the next day when returning to our room and realized the "wrong way" was actually much closer to our room. The signs clearly directed us to go the other (very long) way.

Finally, I didn't like that the only hot breakfast options were an omelet and hot cereal.
