Hotel Indigo Detroit North – Troy by IHG

Can’t wait to see it when the construction is done

Beautiful, clean new rooms!

Requested no fragrances due to a chemically sensitive immune disorder that causes anaphylaxis. Room was so overpowering that I could’ve swore sometime zip tied a bathroom spray air freshener and tossed it in. No notice that hotel was under full reconstruction without amenities listed yet charged full price with no refunds allowed and woken to hammering and saws.

It was under construction and only the 4th floor was open. They worked some nights at midnight and Monday they starting making noise at 8am. Wish I knew it was under construction before I booked for my wedding night

The venue is currently under construction - but that did not affect my stay. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel itself is conveniently next to the expressway and several food options.

The property is under construction so there weren't many amenities yet, but the new room we stayed in was very nice and the work they have done looks good as well. Not a lot of guests yet, because of the construction. We stayed for two nights and had a very quiet and pleasant stay.

Lots of construction going on, but our experience was unaffected by all the upgrades being done.

The Troy in was a pleasant surprise! It is in the process of a remodel. The room we had was remodeled and was simply gorgeous. I had the most wonderful nights rest🍁🙏

We know was in construction but the main floor dusty and the elevator with finger prints all over the price is higher for what this hotel has to offer during remodeling!

We stayed 3 nights. When the reservation was made they should have mentioned that the pool was closed. There were no microwave in the room. We were told to use the one in the "old restaurant " which was dark and dirty. There was no breakfast. The room was nice and updated, the tv would go in and out of signal so watching the tv was frustrating until you finally turned the tv off. Beds were nice and comfortable. The toilet was a bideutte, that was nice. Overall it was alright, but many changes will need to be made for me to stay there again.

Checked in early. Very nice desk attendant. Property is being transitioned to an Indigo property so construction is obvious. The room is very nice. Will likely be quite lovely when completed.

The hotel is under construction and that should been disclosed

Part of the hotel that is finished is very nice. There is still a lot of renovation construction ongoing, but our stay was on a Saturday night, so no noise issues.

Great stay, great room.

Staff unprofessional. Renovations. No restaurant. No pool. Poor maintenance.

All the staff were fantastic

Property was fine, convenient location. Being under construction meant the elevator and some hall areas were tattered and dusty.

The Inn was nice enough especially for the price. The construction was making things a little off, would have liked to use the Hot tub but it was out of commission because of construction and I didn't have my own vehicle so the offer to go to lifetime fitness wasn't an option for me. Elevator was the only obvious dirty part and I'm assuming it was because of construction. Otherwise it was a great deal.

Exactly what I expected for the price.
