Glance in Rome

Unser Zimmer war klein und dunkel. Es roch unangenehm nach Kanal, was dem alten Gebäude geschuldet ist. Rezeption und Gemeinschaftsräume sind schön aber unser Zimmer wirkte bis auf das Bad abgewohnt. Es gab kein Fenster nur eine Balkontür auf einen Gemeinschaftsbalkon. Das Zimmer war in den Innenhof es kam daher kaum Licht herein.
Die Klimaanlage war so unangenehm laut dass wir es am zweiten Tag dem Personal gesagt haben, sie haben zwar versucht etwas zu reparieren, aber leider ohne Erfolg. Wir mussten die restlichen Nächte mit Ohrstöpsel schlafen. Vom Gang und den anderen Zimmern hört man auch sehr viel. Die Kopfkissen waren alt. Es gab keinen Schrank. Kleidung konnte man auf einen der 5 Kleiderbügel aufhängen.

The breakfast could have had a little more variety, but everything tasted good, and they made an amazing cappuccino!

Midden in de stad in een gezellige wijk bijna alle bezienswaardigheden op loop afstand

Une chambre avec un agencement improbable de 20 mètres carrés avec une salle de bain de à peine 3 mètres carrés. 3 prises seulement pour 2 personnes. Une fenêtre qui ne ferme donc pas isolante du bruit ni de la température extérieure. In balcon mais un mobilier sale.
Des placards sans étagère.
Pas de gobelet dans la minuscule salle de bain.
Pas de bouteille d’eau à notre arrivée.
Un petit déjeuner moyen, pas trop de choix. Des jus de fruits chimiques
Je ne réserverai plus dans cet hôtel. Dommage c’était bien encore il y a quelques temps.

Nothing

The fact that the maids woke us up at 8am with loud talking, singing and whistling in the hallway was a bit unpleasant. They only stopped after I went out to get their attention after 1 hour.

Nothing.

Le falta un punto de comodidad y cuidado en la limpieza y los remates , como en el baño ( agujeros sin tapar de algo anterior ) , el hervidor con un enchufe cerca sin hacer malabarismos, más perchas. Pero merece la pena por la ubicación, y esas actividades gratuitas que organizan. La entrada misma al hotel, entrando por un portal comunitario, en uno de los varios ascensores, en un segundo piso, también se hace raro. Esta cadena tiene otro hotel cerca , que es mejor en todos estos sentidos .

Breakfast was okay but not great

This stay was completely different and shows how different all the rooms here are to your entire experience - i went with several friends in a number of different rooms and this time i had a different smaller room which was awful; it was dark with zero natural light, there was one tiny window/door which overlooked the central internal terrace, however the room was so small it had a chair in front of it and you couldnt even get to the shutter to open it without reorganising the chair in the middle of the room to get to it. There was no where at all to hang clothes as a woman just 1 tiny low hanging rail directly above a kettle which meant anything hanging on that was longer than a very short top were literally touching the kettle underneath so the rail served no purpose.
i had to live out my suitcase which was its own problem as the room was so small there was literally nowhere to store the case without tripping over them constantly. there was no suitcase stand, no drawers.
it was horrible to get ready in tripping over each other with no natural light to do your hair or makeup and stumbling over cases which had to love on the only floor space available.
One day i came back to my expensive teeth aligners that were sat on the small table next to the bed knocked open onto the floor and scattered under the bed on the very dirty and dusty floor assuming this was done by the cleaner as they left knocking the small table in the tiny space. This in itself was very frustrating as it meant i couldnt wear my night aligners the whole stay as they were so dirty and i hadnt traveled with a deep cleaning device.

needless to stay the 2 other couples in our group stayed in the same class of ever so slightly nicer room and all the rooms were not amazing like i had experienced in the premium room a few years before = although ours was by far the worst as they had atleast got windows, balconies, hanging space, natural light and ALOT more space in their rooms to move around

- De kamers werden niet grondig gekuist. Er lag altijd nog wel haar op de grond, vlekken op de pompbak en stof op de meubels.

- De lakens zijn nooit ververst geweest en dat weet ik jammer genoeg omdat er vlekken op zaten.

- De lift is niet zo betrouwbaar: 2+ keer vast komen te zitten tijdens ons verblijf (gelukkig zaten we er niet zelf in).

- Het is niet echt een hotel in de traditionele zin. Je wandelt binnen in een soort appartementsgebouw waar je een mix hebt van appartementen, bedrijven en andere hotels. Na 23u is er geen personeel meer aanwezig in het hotel (je kan ze wel bereiken via whatsapp).

- De ramen waren niet voldoende geluidsdicht. Elke dag om 3 uur 's ochtends kan je de vuilnisophaaldienst het glas horen ophalen. Dit is zeer luid en houdt soms toch wel lang aan.

- De airco is te luid om 's avonds aan te laten staan, waardoor je eveneens wakker wordt van de hitte.
- De bedden en kussens waren niet zo comfortabel.

- De kamer ziet er echt wel beter uit op foto's (wij hadden de suite). In het echt is het aan een opfrisbeurt toe. In de badkamer zie je letterlijk dat ze met de verfborstel langs het licht zijn gegaan. Het zijn zo'n details die afbreuk doen aan een anders wel zeer mooie ruimte met potentieel.

- De minibar/koelkast werkte niet. De binnenkant was gewoon warm en hield niks koel. Gezien het zomer was, vond ik dit wel echt storend.

Si je devais souligner des choses négatives : ce serait la salle de bain, petite par rapport à la taille de la chambre et un peu « abîmée ». Mais rien de dérangeant en soit.

Air con was not very good when working and also broke so we had one VERY hot night. Staff moved us the next day and gave us a complimentary breakfast but it was not ideal when we were only staying three nights.
