Need to ask to get housekeeping to make up room if you want it done in a reasonable time. Not asking can result in room not serviced until late afternoon/early evening.
Bistro plays ‘disco’ music at a high volume. Horribly.

Misserabler Ausblick aus dem Zimmer, dazu nachts durchgehend Lärm aus der darunter liegenden Hotelküche, geschmacklich schlechtes Frühstück, permanent, ungenießbares, altes Brot zum Frühstück
Everything! Such friendly staff that make sure everything you need is taken care of. The beds are sooo comfortable and the lighting in the rooms was great. The pool is really nice, and indeed gets a lot of sun during the day.
No Netflix on the smart TV
I’m here for the second time, and the location is fantastic! It’s right on Soi Bukhao, which is lined with amazing bars, clubs, coffee spots, and restaurants that are open almost all the time.
The hotel is super luxurious, with beautifully decorated modern rooms and incredibly comfy beds, complete with large, fluffy bath towels. Plus, there’s a tropical-themed multi-level pool with a chill-out bar outside where you can relax in the evenings.
The breakfast is delicious and a great deal at $7, and the staff are wonderful—always smiling and helpful. On my last day, I had a delicious cappuccino by the pool, and they accidentally forgot to charge me when I checked out. I called them from my taxi to sort it out, and the girl on the phone said it was on the house. What a wonderful attitude! The Amber hotel is definitely my favorite place to stay in Pattaya.
