Clean and comfortable
Pros:

The hotel is right across the street from the beach. Easy access. Just a few miles from Saint Augustine town center. The front desk staff was exceptional. Pleasant and professional.

The room was clean and nicely updated.

Cons:

The fact that I was charged a $15 parking fee. I booked on booking.com and I was quoted a total so budgeted for that amount. When I checked out I was charged a parking fee that was not presented to me up front. For that reason I won’t be staying there again.

Dark, dank, tiny, badly designed
Pros:

We had 2 queens on the 1st floor. The room was tiny, dark and dumpy. The bathroom has only a sliding door with gaps all around the outside - more like a shower curtain than a door. No privacy for the person using it, or escape from smells and sounds for others in the room. Really bad design choice. There was also a visible gap between the front door and door frame, sheets had black specks on them and it seemed very run-down. Seeing a recent review with pictures of cockroaches in the room was the last straw and we packed it up and found a different hotel instead. I wouldn't pay more than about $40/night for this one. All these glowing reviews seem suspect; this place is pretty rundown and strange. Recommend anywhere else.

Great location, clean with good customer service.
Pros:

The customer service was excellent, especially when we needed to extend our stay by 1 day due to a flight cancellation—the change was seamless and handled quickly.

Cons:

The free breakfast was not that great (but not uncommon with other similar properties). In particular the hot breakfast options (eggs/meat) were watery and/or rubbery. Thankfully they offered a few other decent alternatives (bagels, cereal) and the coffee was strong (in a good way). Not the end of the world to get breakfast elsewhere.

Worth the price on the most part.
Pros:

Easy to get to, parking is $10 a night, rooms are big, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Paying for parking when we had to park outside the wall due to not enough parking. Breakfast was ok, but not my favorite choice.
