I had an exceptional stay at this property. From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless, the check‑in process was quick and professional and the staff were welcoming and attentive throughout. The room was spotless, beautifully presented and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The facilities were excellent and the attention to detail really stood out. It’s clear that the team takes pride in maintaining high standards. The location was convenient, making it easy to get around and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and enjoyable.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality, comfort and above par service. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

Labotessa is a rare gem in Cape Town that instantly transports one to an European stay with a level that many top Cape town hotels can’t achieve. Beautiful garden and interior, every single detail looked after, so clean and well maintained and every single team member so friendly and helpful. The tiny touches like a hand written welcome card, complimentary wine/cheese/predrinks, the Diptyque hotel mini’s and not even to mention the stunning Diptyque boutique.

A real jewel in city center. Lovely spaces. We had a signature suite. Large well appointed room. Very personal and solicitous service from waiting up to receive us at midnight to helping with delayed luggage to reserving a superb restaurant for us. We knew all staff by name including Johann. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Labotessa Hotel. Service was in a class all by itself, breakfast was delicious and included, and each day coming home we would feel like we were greeted by family. Bed was so comfortable and fantastic shower. Highly recommend!!

I had a great stay, the location at Church Square is perfect, with everything within easy reach. The suite was beautifully designed, spacious, and very comfortable, with every detail carefully thought out. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. It’s a special place that combines style with genuine hospitality, I would happily return.

My wife & I stayed at Labotessa for 5 nights earlier this month as the start to our honeymoon in the Western Cape. While we had high expectations given our special occasion, the team at Labotessa consistently exceeded them!

Starting from our airport pickup, check-in (complete with bubblies), and room tour we knew that we picked the right hotel to land during our first trip to South Africa. The amenities in the rooms were of the finest quality, stocked with wine & snacks, diptyque toiletries, very comfortable bathrobes, and last-but-not-least heated floors in the bathroom. The bed was also one of the most comfortable that I've ever slept on. Needless to say the rooms were immaculately clean and spotless upon arrival in spite of our early check-in.

While there was no gym & pool on premises, it was a nice perk to be able to use the Taj's facilities just around the corner from Labotessa's as well.

The daily breakfast was excellent. Given our longer stay, my wife & I were able to try pretty much the entire menu and each item was delicious. Moreover, the morning waitstaff were always highly attentive, friendly and chatty with us, making us feel right at home. Overall, the vibe/atmosphere was very welcoming and personalized, with all staff referring to us by our names.

The cherry on top was that they helped us book dinners (FYN, Nelson's Eye, etc.) and activities (Table Mountain & Lion's Head hikes, etc.), which truly made our honeymoon experience complete. The location of the hotel is very central, so it made all of these activities very convenient and accessible. In spite of the central location, we found it quiet and were able to sleep throughout the night.

Considering this 5-star plus experience, the value for the nightly price is actually very reasonable; the only other hotel that I've stayed at which offered this similar level of quality/service was double the nightly price.

Lovely boutique hotel with only 7 suites. Suites are large, roomy, and very clean. The bed is amazing as well. great location in town and a perfect view of Lions Head. The staff is also very friendly. Added bonus the lift opens right into your private room
