Third time staying, good value and comfortable
Pros:

Very comfortable and close to the airport

Cons:

Lobby two doors from our room was loud after 11pm, think it was the staff

Cons:

We registered for 2A, 2K but only had enough towels for 3 in the bathroom. You ran out of pool towels. The back door was locked before the 9:00pm time on the sign. The coffee machine in the breakfast station the next morning didn’t work. Ricki’s was a terrible experience we walked out.

Pros:

Chambre spacieuse, vue agréable sur la mer. Piscine très bien avec un coin spa pool.
Petit déjeuner très simple mais qui dépanne bien.

Cons:

Certains équipements sont à revoir, car vieillissants (les rideaux occultants remplis de trous, la porte du réfrigérateur qui ne ferme pas) Oreillers trop gros donc inconfortables.

Second visit to the site so obviously the pros out weigh the cons!
Pros:

Continental breakfast, pool and hot tub. Restaurant on site with a 20% discount.

Cons:

Because I wanted 3 beds (for two teens and a parent) we were on the ground floor. I think the rooms on the ground/basement level are not quite as up to date as other rooms. Older paint jobs etc and that level was the level for pets.

Pros:

Location is good, near Nanaimo downtown and many viewpoints.
Parking spaces are sufficient.
Breakfast coupons can be used in restaurant for discounts on better meals.

Cons:

Even though there is a kitchen in the room, you can't cook or clean seafood, which is very disappointing and not stated during reservation.
Breakfast is not very good.
People in the hallway is noisy.
Pillow is too thick.

Okay for the price.
Pros:

Lots of parking. Swimming pool is a plus for our little one. Playpen was offered for baby to have somewhere to sleep. The staff were very kind and helpful!

Cons:

Very thin walls. We could hear people in the rooms beside us and in the hallway constantly. We were travelling with a baby and were put on the main floor near where staff constantly were opening & closing a very loud door and constant movement & conversations in the hallway. It was quite disruptive.

The mattress on the bed was quite “springy”. Tough to sleep on. We had sore backs from the flimsiness and lack of support.

The toilet in the room wasn’t flushing and had to be fixed twice.

Disappointed the included breakfast was a cold breakfast only. We opted for the Ricky’s breakfast instead.
