Pros:

They offered wine tasting in the room that was brilliant. We ordered the braai basket and it was excellent value for money and very well presented. The hosts where very helpful and kind. The cottage was stunning!

We hebben genoten!
Pros:

We hadden heel slecht weer: elektriciteit was uitgevallen (storm). We zouden verblijven in cottage 1, werden verplaatst naar cottage 3 ( zelfde type), omdat er wateroverlast was. Door uitval van elektra konden we niet eten in het restaurant en hebben we geen gebruik kunnen maken van de hottub. Maar ze hebben er alles aangedaan om het ongemak te minimaliseren. David bracht extra hout voor de kachel, kaarsen en zaklampen. Het restaurant bakte pizza's voor ons in de steenoven. Heel veel dank daarvoor!!!! De kamer was schoon en sfeervol ingericht en het uitzicht was fantastisch. We hebben daar heel erg van genoten, ondanks het slechte weer. Het ontbijt was ook erg goed.

Cons:

Het weer helaas, maar daar kunnen ze niks aan doen.

Pleasant, perfect family getaway.
Pros:

The cottages are perfectly situated in Tulbagh. The Mountain View’s were our favourite, waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee with the mountain right in front of you is simply breathtaking.

Cons:

Nothing! The property is clean with beautiful and perfect views.

Lovely farm stay in Tulbagh
Pros:

Beautiful location and views. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee, tea and fresh milk provided.

It would have been great to have a choice of pillows, not just soft and squishy

A great location, with well kept amenities. A must visit.
Pros:

We loved the availability of all facilities. You can get basically anything that your heart require!

Cons:

The quality of dinner was very average and did not match our expectations. The pizzas and platters however the next day were brilliant.

Sehr schönes Cottages in ruhiger Lage.
Pros:

Das Frühstück wurde morgens mit einem lächelnden "Guten Morgen" von Kim in einem Korb gebracht. Es war alles dabei von Brot, Wurst, Käse, Obst, Cerealien usw.
Kim war jederzeit, auch für Wünsche für den nächsten Morgen, per WhatsApp erreichbar.
Nebenan gibt es ein Restaurant, so dass man den Abend auf dem Gelände ausklingen lassen kann.
Auch schön ist der Pool im Garten-

Die Terrasse könnte sauberer sein.
Bequemere Stühle wären fein.

Perfect spot with an incredible view and so many birds
Pros:

The views, wow! The birds were incredible too so many different kinds.
Was so chilled and quiet.
The spot was chosen for the view and the braai and the pool. All of these were amazing so the stay itself was just lovely.
Such great memories and such a comfortable stay.
We didnt try the restaurant but it seem quite popular on the Friday eve and the park run happens every saturday from there too so nice get up and out activity around the farm too with some locals.
The hot tub was also great with the night chill that moved in, we were in there for hours.
Aircon worked well and they had a fan when we felt less 'cold' was needed.
Nice and close to the wine farms we wanted to visit (actually all are very close) and oakhurst for the olive tasting. Town was not even 10mins away (although depends on how fast you drive on a dirt road :)
All in all an wonderful experience. Would definitely go back.

Cons:

The shower was super high...strangely so but the pressure and hot water was great so dislike only for the height.
The outside braai area needed a light to see what you were braaing at night, we used the loadshedding light we found in a cupboard to sort that problem out.
Ants were a little bit of a problem but then that said you are in the country side. All food needed to be put in the fridge to avoid the ant trail. They should try some blue death just behind the counters etc to curb it a bit.

The best couples getaway!
Pros:

Amazing scenery and so tranquil. Daphne’s Bistro was delicious and the wine incredible. I absolutely loved the rustic-style continental breakfast too!

Pros:

Beautiful property on gorgeous grounds. Loved the pool, visiting the donkeys and being close to lots of vineyards and Tulbagh itself. The room itself had everything we needed and was well appointed.

Cons:

A fly swatter would be helpful for the flies in warmer months

Schöne Unterkunft und herrlich still erholsam
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, sauber und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war lecker.

Cons:

Wir befinden uns in der Natur. Entsprechend viele Insekten. Wir hatten viele Ameisen und Mücken im Haus. Auch einige Spinnen. Sobald die Klimaanlage aus ist, wird es unerträglich warm im Haus, sodass die Klimaanlage eigentlich dauerhaft angeschaltet sein muss, wenn man sich im Haus aufhalten will. Bungalow 2 hat, im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bungalows, noch keinen großen Bewuchs auf dem Terrassendach, was dazu führt, dass es abartig heiß ist und man dort erst wieder sitzen kann, wenn die Sonne langsam untergeht. Dass das Restaurant nicht jeden Abend geöffnet ist, ist schade.
