Pros:

The staff was top notch in assistance from parking to checking in and out.

Cons:

The wi-fi was not working.
The water glasses are more like children toys and I had issues of mixing my effervescence medication.

Great stop over
Pros:

It's a beautiful old building. Secure off street parking
Very comfortable bed and linen.

The Diner is lovely. I thought it would have some nice music playing however. Especially that it was a Friday Night. And a 50's diner theme.

Cons:

Rather strong chenical smell of cleaning products. But at least I knew it was clean!

convenient location, the refreshing water/juice on arrival most welcome.

Cons:

most people drawn to the hotel because of Jo's diner although I found the meals underwhelming and overpriced, some ingredients not available but not explained to the customer until queried. I was charged R35 for a tonic water. I requested fresh milk for my room coffee and was told not possible as there was no fridge in the hotel. No possibility of ordering a single coffee at the restaurant, only availability is bottomless coffee for R45.00

Pros:

Check-in was proper, the ladies were friendly and professional.

The security guard was super helpful from the day we checked in until we left.

The food was delicious.

Cleanup of the room was also exceptional.

Cons:

The only downside was that we didn't have hot water. It was lukewarm for the duration of our stay. Luckily it was hot during our stay so we didn't really mind.
