Our stay at Mildom City Hotel was great. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with many major attractions within walking distance. Several tourist spots can be reached in around 30 minutes on foot, making it a very convenient place to stay.
The reception staff were very accommodating and responsive to our requests. They genuinely made an effort to assist us and ensure that we had a comfortable stay. They also helped us arrange a taxi from the hotel to the airport, which made our departure much easier and more convenient.
The bathroom was spacious and had both hot and cold water. There is also a good restaurant right next to the hotel, which was very convenient.
Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would definitely recommend Mildom City Hotel to travelers looking for a convenient location, helpful staff, and good value.
One thing that could be improved is the air conditioning. The AC was quite weak, although it wasn’t a major issue during our stay since we visited in September, during the fall season, when the weather was already relatively cool.( Maybe we’re just too used to UAE-level AC. 😂)
The room was just okay—basic and nothing fancy, but it was sufficient for our needs. Overall, considering the price and location, I would still say Mildom City Hotel is good value for money.

Very good location and extremely helpful staff. The hotel is well situated for exploring Almaty, with many restaurants and attractions nearby. The reception staff were kind, friendly and always willing to help us with local recommendations, transport and anything we needed. We really appreciated their personal approach and hospitality (Ulyk-Bek, thank you! 😊). Overall, we had a pleasant stay and felt very welcome. Thank you for your help and kindness!
Мне понравилось месторасположение, вежливый персонал, все необходимое для жизни в отеле есть, чистота в номере, регулярная уборка с заменой полотенец и халатов, круглосуточная стойка регистрации.
Текстиль уже немного обветшал, я имею в виду халаты, полотенца и постельное белье, но все чистое и регулярно менялось.
И вид из окна первого этажа — стена. Но вид мне был не критичен, потому что приходила только переночевать.
Ещё отсутствует комната или шкаф для хранения багажа.

I found Almaty to be slightly more expensive than I expected, and was thus glad I found this little gem right in the middle of town to stay in. It is a peaceful little hideaway down a quiet avenue just off one of the main streets in town, and whilst indeed being in the middle of it all, I found my room quiet and cosy. The reception staff were very calm, welcoming and friendly, and I appreciated the use of a kettle and fridge in my room. Thank you for a comfortable and affordable stay in Almaty!

The hotel was chosen for its convenient location. It's very budget-friendly, but decent and comfortable enough for that. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.
The internet was quite slow. The reception staff varied wildly – from the nicest people to downright rude. But management responded to the conflict, at least on an informational level.
