Beautiful View!
Pros:

The view from this hotel were amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful room and view. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. The room was quaint, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The beach was rocky, as is typical for the region, but private with nice shade and swimming. You can also rent kayaks and a peddle boat. We rented a kayak and had some beautiful views from the water. There were ducks and swans that came by. The hotel is a short walk from the train station - 15 minutes - there is no bus or taxi service in the town, unless you book taxi ahead, but it was totally doable. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with a great selection of food. The hot tub looked great but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Bellano was a nice place to be based out of. You could hop on a train for a five minute ride to Varenna, or on a ferry to the other towns, including Bellagio. It was not as busy as Bellagio and less commercial, so it felt like a more authentic Italian experience. We loved it and would totally recommend and return:)

Picture perfect Lake Como stay in lovely Bellano
Pros:

Beautiful location with spectacular views from rooms and hotel restaurant. Balcony of king room could not have been closer to the water and had a wrap around private deck great for taking in the views. The private hotel beach with chairs and beach towels provided guaranteed a swim spot throughout the stay-no mass beach club or chair/umbrella rentals needed. It was located in peaceful Bellano with additional dining options beyond the hotel and felt far away from the tourist crowds. Easy access to local transportation and parking onsite for small fee. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

Furniture could use update.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and highly recommend it!

The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and the town center. One of the biggest advantages is the private access to the beach, where you can relax on sun loungers and even swim in the lake.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the view of the lake from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The design of the hotel is stylish, modern, and very Instagram-worthy. We even had a photoshoot here, and the hotel was the perfect backdrop for our photos.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would especially like to thank the gentleman at the reception (unfortunately, we don’t know his name). He was always smiling, kind, ready to help, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of food, and it was also very convenient to have the option of ordering dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the rooms had air conditioning, and everything was very comfortable.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you to the entire team for your wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Don’t look any further, but to go to Hotel Meridiana in the beautiful and quiet town of Bellano!
Pros:

Hotel Meridiana is the hidden gem of Lake Como!! The hotel’s location to both the train station and the boat is a walkable distance for every excursion we took. Angelo was an amazing host and was there to support us throughout our wonderful trip to Lake Como! Access to the water for a swim at the end of the day made every bit of a perfect experience!!

Super Lage! Super Personal!
