The Inn at Long Beach

Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious, clean.

We stayed here last month. We could have stayed for cheaper at a chain hotel like Hampton or Holiday Inn, and I wish we had, because those chains have more oversight and are updated more frequently. The lobby was nice, but the room was tired,
and both the chair’s fabric and carpet was visibly stained. (The cleaning crew was working hard each day, but there’s only so much they can do when things are stained.) The refrigerator/freezer dethawed overnight and waterlogged the expensive Door Dash food we put in there. (The hotel did compensate us for our food the next morning.)

The pool looked really nice in the pictures and was the reason we booked. I had visions of laying in the pool and looking at the ocean. It’s smaller than it looks in the pictures, though, and during the first week of July, it was jam-packed with people, so we didn’t go in it once. Those same people came traipsing through the lobby shirtless and dripping wet, making the floors dangerously slippery. It was kind of a gross scene to be honest.

There were two positives about this stay: 1) The people working there were polite, friendly, and did anything they could to help us. They went above and beyond.

The breakfast was lacking EXCEPT for the pancakes cooked on demand—DELICIOUS!—and the wonderful service.

For what ended up being a total of $300 a night, this was a waste of money. We got out of there as fast as we could the next morning and headed our next stop.

My great experience began at check in with an overly welcoming and accommodating professional staff. While the rooms were clean and had a great atmosphere, the staff is what made the trip so pleasant. No matter what time of the day we were coming in or going out, we were always greeted with genuine smiles and pleasant conversations.

Had the absolute BEST experience staying here. Hotel is in a great location and is so accommodating. Within walking distance to several restaurants, downtown, the beach, etc. The staff is amazing and so kind and polite. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had- the made-to-order pancakes were chefs kiss! The pool and popsicle hotline were fun and great for the kids. Hotel is right across from a nice, clean stretch of the beach. It’s easy to walk across or drive your vehicle across and park. Parking lot has plenty of room and felt very safe. The hotel was busy but very quiet. Rooms are large and so clean! Bathroom was big and had plenty of towels. The small touches such as the one staff, afternoon cookies, popsicle hotline, and large rooms make this hotel a must stay. We will be back!

Super clean, friendly, quiet place to stay! No where can be the breakfast either.

I have stayed at this property numerous times before. Each visit, including this one, has been a very pleasant experience. Very attentive staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, had a great breakfast. Easy access, beautiful view of the Gulf. Close to restaurants has a lot of sitting areas inside and outside, had a very nice outdoor patio. Will definitely stay there again.

Staff was fabulous! Always helpful and kind. Beds were incredibly comfortable! And THAT breakfast buffet magnificent!!! We will be back!

The staff was friendly and accessible. That means a lot to me. One of the servers for breakfast had lived in Arizona. I don't know her name but she was amazing!! We really enjoyed talking with her.
