Came back again and will want to comeback again.
Pros:

Excellent location for guests who want to be away from the busy street. Lots of small stores and restaurants nearby.

Staff were professional. Kawaii and another gentleman with ponytail (didn’t get his name) went the extra mile to help us on wayfinding and luggage . Thank you and you made a difference to our stay.

Cons:

The wifi connection between rooms weren’t stable and disrupted our evening.

え、これでこの値段？もう二度と泊ることはないでしょう。

夕食に行ったホテル近くのおばんざいやさんが美味しかった。

Cons:

おばんざいやまでの道をホテルの人に聞いてその通りに行ったら全然違っていた！
朝食が写真では美味しそうで期待してたが、冷たくて期待以下だった。
部屋が四方真っ白の壁に囲まれた感じが思ってたより閉塞感を感じ、大きな窓も開けたり出来ない仕様だったので正直圧迫感を感じた。1泊2日だったが早く出たかった。
部屋にテレビがないのはいいが、プロジェクターはデフォルトで部屋に設定されてるのではなく、外部から持ってきての接続だった。配線が丸出しで途中が接続がきれ、その度にホテルの人にを設定してもらったけど、かなり面倒だった。

The property is in excellent condition. It is very modern and very clean. The room is awesome and well maintained. The bar in the second floor is great too.

Cons:

The location is quite a walk to other convenient stores, restaurants and shopping malls. I tried to find restaurants in the vicinity in the evening but most of the local restaurants are closed.

A stay full of bliss in Kyoto.
Pros:

We love EVERYTHING about this hotel. I have hesitated to write this review because I want to always go back and I want to keep it a secret just for me.
I wish the had a Mogana in every city in Japan.

Style over substance
Pros:

- Great breakfast
- Nice quiet location, if you like that.

Cons:

I never really write reviews, especially if they're negative, but I really thought this stay was so disappointinh. Yes, it's a cool design, but once I've seen it for 30 seconds, it needs to feel like a hotel, and it just doesn't. Here are some of the things. It will feel like I'm picky. I'm really not.

- The entrance is extremely dark, which makes the arrival feel eerie and unwelcoming.
- The whole place just always feels eerily quiet, dark and empty. There is no communal space (aside from an empty, unmanned bar on one of the floors), and the reception area is always unmanned. All feels eerie.
- The lighting in the dark corridors is meant to guide you, but it doesn’t really work, so you often end up walking in darkness, day or night.
- In the room, there are no blackout blinds or doors separating the sleeping area, so the room becomes very bright as soon as the sun comes up. I attached a photo.
- The room doors are not soundproofed, so breakfast deliveries to neighbouring rooms can easily wake you up.
- Breakfast in the room is a nice idea, but having to choose the time the day before feels restrictive when you’re on holiday.
- When they do bring you breakfast there is no proper place to eat breakfast. It is served on a very low coffee table, while you sit on the sofa. You also can’t comfortably sit on the floor because the table is a solid block with no space for your legs.
- The room lighting feels sterile and quite harsh, almost like a hospital.
- The reading light is positioned on the ceiling, so it shines directly into your eyes.
- There is no desk, which may not bother everyone, but I found it inconvenient.
