10/10…Would recommend
Pros:

Everything was perfect throughout my stay. I stayed at the hotel for New Year’s Eve and couldn’t have had a better experience. Everyone from the valet driver to the spa attendants were friendly and helpful. I was in room 5019 and the view of the city was so nice. I had a massage at the spa and it was great. The pool area is beautiful and I had the whole pool to myself for two hours the next morning. Breakfast at the Skyhigh was delicious. I ordered room service and it was just as good as if ate in the restaurant. The concierges and housekeepers were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed to ensure my stay was wonderful. It exceeded my expectations!

Four Seasons Philadelphia doesn’t disappoint
Pros:

This was amazing and totally excited to say that the FS Philadelphia could be one of my favorite cities hotels. It’s beautiful architecture and amazing staff and amenities, food , spa offerings. And fitness all perfect. I would say this Four Seasons is worth a visit even if for business or cultural activities. Because Philadelphia is filled with history. Loved it. All of it

Must Stay In Phili
Pros:

Reviewing Four Seasons hotels can be challenging because they are always lovely places where service is often over the top great. This stems from staff members (from management on down) who help each other and are always working to enhance your experience. The Four Seasons Philadelphia is no exception, as it is one of our favorite locations. The lobby and restaurant, Sky High, are breathtaking. I review restaurants separately but will just say that Sky High loves up to its name. As for the hotel, their rooms are a delight and the staff even more so.

Philadelphia's most luxurious hotel
Pros:

I have previously visited the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center for (quite fancy) holiday parties, but this was my first visit as an overnight guest.

The hotel is new and quite beautiful. Even the elevator ride to reception (located on the 60th floor) from the ground floor of the building is impressive, with glass on the outside of the elevator allowing you to see the Philadelphia skyline off in the distance as the buildings below appear smaller and smaller as the elevator rises.

My hotel room was so nice that it reminded me of my room at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in south Florida. A wonderful, large bathroom, and amazing shower, along with picturesque views east and west from my north-side facing hotel room located 54 floors about Center City Philadelphia.

As others have noted, getting to and from your room at this hotel is a bit involved, in that you head up from the ground floor entrance to the 60th floor before switching to a separate elevator bank that will take you to your room after you tap the card on the sensor. The actual rooms are located on the 48th to 56th floors of the building. And to leave the hotel, you do this same process in reverse, first heading up to the 60th floor before taking the elevator with the wonderful views back to the ground floor. In the event of a power outage, without elevator access, I'm not certain how anyone unable to climb 50 floors of stairs would get to their rooms here.

My room was quiet, the bed was so comfortable, and the TV and internet worked great. Both are connected to Comcast's network, so you can get all the TV channels imaginable, as compared to those hotels where you are fortunate to get just a handful of options.

If there is any legitimate complaint about this hotel, it is that it is so darn expensive to stay here. I was fortunate to be able to take advantage of a negotiated rate that an organization I belong to offers, so the stay ended up costing me somewhere between 35 to 40 percent of the normal rack rate, which usually ranges here between $1,200 to more than $1,300 per night. It is notable that high-end visitors to Philadelphia can support that rate and keep this amazing hotel so fully occupied, but that definitely does seem to be the case. For me, I simply could not justify paying those regular rates to stay here, but at my heavily discounted rate I certainly look forward to my future stays.

My only other complaint, and it is a very minor one, was that the hotel was unable to accommodate my request for a 1 p.m. late checkout, instead of the normal noon checkout, because of how fully occupied the hotel was expecting to be. Pretty much every other hotel I have stayed at in recent memory has been able to accommodate at least one extra hour past normal checkout. Instead, I checked-out around 8 a.m. and left my bags at reception on the 60th floor. As promised, my bags were moved and securely stored on the ground floor of the building, so that I could pick them up without delay when I was ready to hit the road.

If money is no object, you should definitely give this property a visit. Now I need to visit the Rittenhouse Hotel sometime soon so that I can decide which is Philly's best luxury hotel.
