Pros:

The room and especially the comfortable beds, good breakfast and the best cappuccino! Location is super too, you can walk to many places.. 7 eleven is close for snacks. Staff is very friendly. Art works we loved too.

Cons:

The view from the window is nothing special. More fruits within the breakfast would be nice. In the room there could be more places to hang your items like jackets or bags.

Forget Airbnb, save money here when in Kyoto

Just a really fun hotel, super friendly staff with a very unique atmosphere.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at BNA Alter Museum. The concept is genuinely unique, staying inside what feels like a living art installation made it so much more than just a hotel. Every detail felt considered and creative, and it's the kind of place you can't stop talking about afterwards.

The breakfast was also a highlight; beautifully presented and delicious, a lovely way to start the day. Highly recommend for anyone wanting something different and memorable in Kyoto.

Great location and funky in its presentation but a little "cold" in the interaction from staff.

Obviously the concept is great: unique rooms designed by different artists inside a Contemporary art museum

Cons:

The main attraction of our room: a combination of lights and vibration was only available once on arrival.. couldn't be repeated.
Breakfast was very basic.
Bar wasn't available as they were short staffed.
Internet didn't work.
Tv didn't work.
I asked for a charger for my phone (because there wasn't any USB charger around) and I got one which didn't work from the staff.

Расскажу свой опыт.
Номер сняли на 4х, это самый не удобный семейный номер. Нет ни телевизора ни вешалки. Только поддон на котором лежит матрас. О поддон вы можете ударить палец, скорее всего вы это сделаете. Нет стульев.
Есть чайник, но возле него нет розетки. Его нужно отнести и поставить вместо телефона.
Наверное для 2х человек более удобный номер, я не знаю почему столь высокие отзывы, но для семьи это ужас.
Мы сняли на 2 дня , но уборки у них нет.
Вау эффект на 20 мин, далее мучений на 2е суток
В рекламе на букинге был с завтраком, но при заселении нам сказали что завтрак нужно оплатить. Это очень странно, в приложении нет информации, поэтому я не смог доказать. Возможно у кого-то такая же проблема была.
Я категорично не рекомендую этот отель. Номер с монетами мне не понравился
