Absolutely nothing!

Cons:

It was all horrible. It was full dingy dated and dirty. The room was so bad it made my allergies and Asthma really bad. I had no sleep. The beds made me itch and we're grubby. I was booked in for 3 nights. I couldn't stay any longer after 2. I only stay the 2 because I didn't have a choice. When I checked out early I explained how the room and all the dust made my allergies and Asthma bad so I had to leave it was giving me anxiety. I had to get home.. The receptionist told the manager some of this but didn't explain in full. The manager said I couldn't have my money back for the third night! I would highly recommend NOT STAYING IN THIS HOTEL. IT IS AWFUL!!!,

The best place to stay for your Melbourne visit
Pros:

The rooms are spacious the beds are very comfortable and the location is fabulous walking distance to major shops and attractions with a tram right at the door

A muscle mat topper or something similar or a new better quality mattress.

I enjoyed my stay at a middle level hotel and the basics were very good.
Pros:

Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable. Breakfast was good. Bed was ok for sleep. Room was functional.
No hassles from other guests in lifts or corridors. Staff helpful and pleasant. Good location in quiet street.

Cons:

Nothing major really. Thought the breakfast food setout was scattered. Could miss some items as not in line of sight.
Perhaps a hanging sign or two about a metre above tables saying 'Cereal and Fruit and Hot food" - 'Breads' - 'Tea and Coffee' - 'Fruit Juice'. All too spread out for first timers. Signs would help to get an overview on entry.

Location - CBD close to Fed Sq for easy walk into Melbourne Park.
Room - all the facilities we require, basic and clean, we spend v little time at the hotel
Louden restaurant breakfast - like that the service is provided by a catering college

Cons:

Room - during our x4 night stay the room wasn’t serviced at all - doesn’t meet expectations of a 4 star rating
Room - shower - location of toiletry bottles and soap dish in the wrong place. Kept knocking myself on them. Better to be relocated higher up either side of the shower head
