Cheap and cheerful in amazing location
Pros:

The location is so perfect. It’s smack bang across from emporium, china town and Bourke street mall and right on the tram line to get anywhere you need in Melbourne. The staff are efficient and welcoming, aided by the check in touch screen machines (check in took me literally 5 mins)
The beds are super super super comfy. Soft linen and pillows. The value for money was impressive, I was surprised how affordable it is considering its location.

Cons:

The shower configuration needs to be looked at. You’re either walking into boiling water or freezing water and even when temp is right it would go cold and hot the whole shower.
I tried calling reception multiple times on my room phone and was hung up on.
The walls are very thin so you can hear everything happening on ur floor / people walking past. Hotel is a bit dated but to be expected for the price. Only minimal things - but something note for management

Amazing staff and great location.
Pros:

Love the central location we frequently book here. Amazing staff, friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

This trip we were unfortunate enough to come across inconsiderate neighbours slamming their doors from 10pm - 1am maybe even after and yelling to each other across the way. We reported to reception and they were PHENOMENAL in their quick action to have us moved.

Great good location.
Pros:

Best location. Friendly staff
We had a single room but unfortunately when we came back there was issue with the bathroom. The bathroom was the cleanest bathroom I’ve seen but the flushing playing up. So they instantly moved our room and we were happy

Cons:

One of the lifts weren’t working

Lovely if it wasn’t for the condition in which I found myself next till I’ll bring my own sheets
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff!

Cons:

You must have unfiltered water and wash you sheets and towels in a chlorinated substance.
I’m highly allergic to chlorine and I broke out in hives about an hour after having a shower and using the towels and sheets!
not your fault but made for an incredibly uncomfortable stay! Also found it a bit distressing that there was no cover on the douve?!

Good location. Pleasant for a short stay.
Pros:

Location at the heart of CBD.

Cons:

Bathroom a bit small. TV screen mounted too high against the wall which strained the neck when watching. Not many programs to choose.

Overall very happy with the quality of the accommodation and the loacation in Melbourne CBD.
Pros:

Location close to huge selection of Asian eating places, which gave me wonderful variety in my lunch and evening meals.

Cons:

Not enough Western type food restaurants.

Not worth the money
Pros:

Loved the location and breakfast. Staff are amazing.

Cons:

Don't trust the pictures online. We paid just under $500 for a view of a mouldy wall. A cheaper rate should be be offered for these rooms.
One lift wasn't working so by the time the one that was working got to us it was full so we had to take the emergency stairs multiple times.
