Great location but no way out if a fire breaks out. :-( No internal stairs to use if lifts break.
Pros:

Perfect location, comfortable room, friendly staff. I'd stayed here several times before, before it was detached from its sister hotel next door.

Cons:

The lifts!!! One wasn't working. The remaining small lift couldn't cope with the large number of people who wanted to use it. People became very frustrated and opted for the stairs. BUT, there are no stairs!!!
If a fire breaks out, and the lifts don't work, there is no way to get out.
How this passed through planning is anyone's guess. I have never stayed in a hotel before where there is no way of getting out. Its a great little hotel, fabulous location, great breakfast, but I won't be staying again.

Excellent place to stay , has everything required and central to everywhere
Pros:

Location is perfect . Room was clean and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for a 4 night stay

There wasn’t much I didn’t like.

Great staff, great location, bring ear plugs to get some sleep.
Pros:

The staff were really helpful and kind; the location was fantastic and the room was comfortable and clean. There is a small bar fridge and the usual amenities that one needs when travelling.

Cons:

The level of noise during the night. Every time the toilet was flushed or someone had shower, we heard it. The light from the corridor sneaked in under the door so the room could not be dark enough to sleep properly. If someone would return to their room the door would slam shut - throughout the night this was a problem . So, expect that for some rooms there will be accompanying poor sleep. So bring ear plugs.

Disappointing aspects of this hotel but a good location for our needs.
Pros:

Location was good. staff were friendly. We got an early check in which was good.

Cons:

I was so annoyed at being told paying by cash incurred an additional $50 to the price!! This is outrageous! Cash is legal tender and the booking information said the hotel accepts cash. To be told at check in that I would have to pay $50 more was very disappointing.
Also, the air conditioner in our room was so noisy we had to turn it off completely. We could hear the toilet flushing in the next room which was off-putting. This hotel is not sound proof. There was a dank smell in the hallway, also. The body wash/hand wash and shampoo were all watered down liquids. Overall, good location, but would not stay here again.

This is my stay at Motel the rooms are AWSOME te staff are excellent and the location is very central to major shopping theatres and the tram stop is rift at te front door

It was a comfortable and quick stay in a perfect location.
Pros:

The location was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. The mattress was wonderful!

Cons:

The bathroom did not have a fan and made the bathroom very musty and foggy.

Pros:

The breakfast was wonderful. Plenty of choices. We were there for 4nights arriving Friday and leaving Tuesday. We didn't get our rooms touched till Monday afternoon. I understand all this eco friendly idea but no clean towels or rubbish removal in that time. I have never had a complaint before but we haven't been to Melbourne for a while. Will have to rethink our stay next time.
