Great location & gym, a few minor inconveniences
Pros:

Great stay! The location was excellent with everything close by and easy to access. The gym was a standout — fully equipped and much better than most hotel gyms. Despite being central, the room was very quiet and made for a comfortable stay.

Cons:

A couple of things to note: the hotel required an extra nightly deposit of $100 per night due to using Apple Pay. As a returning guest this felt a bit excessive.

The room also had two queen beds but only two towel hooks, which made it difficult to reuse towels as we were short of places to dry them. There were also only two glasses provided, so the room didn’t feel set up for the number of guests it was intended to accommodate.

Cons:

There was 1 porter that absolutely stank! Like horrendous…we were both gagging and the lift still stank after 10mins when we went back down. Also only 2 choices for room service…lagsana or toasted sandwich

Excellent stay... so close to shopping and amenities
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Excellent location. Loved the sparkling water on tap.

Cons:

Needed a hand towel to dry hands. We had to use a flannel. Shower leaked. Toilet seat needs securing. Toilet paper kept falling off holder. Didn't like room not being serviced daily - for the price should have been!

Pros:

The rooms were super clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are big with everything that you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Abd Hotel is located in a great spot ( the best part of the room was the lovely bath. )

I would stay again at this property. It was excellent for work travel.
Pros:

The staff was well mannered and approachable. I asked for a printout of a document for work, and they went out of their way to give it to me (I didn't have to follow up- they came and handed it to me.)
Room was well spaced out, plenty of power points for charging electronics. TV channels were generous - had Foxtel on it as well.
Bed was comfortable, pillows and linen were fresh and clean. Good supply of tea.
Central location - just brilliant. Easy to walk to anywhere I wanted to go, tram stop close by.

Cons:

On arrival to my room, it smelled of a room deodoriser and that was ok. But as that dissipated a funny smell was present. Kind of damp mixed in with the deodoriser - not overpowering but noticeable as I went in and out of the room, but not really noticeable when I spent time in the room.

Little things. The slippers provided were dirty, the water tap on our floor wasn't working and wasn't fixed despite me calling about it twice, had to shove a towel against the gap under the door as there was a whistling sound coming from it, shower pressure not great.
