Pros:

Location good, easy walking access to sites. Beds comfortable, rooms clean. A little dark but that’s because it is in the city center and is flank on either side by other buildings. There is an old building.

Cons:

Hotel has a very very strong smell that permeated into bedrooms. Combination bad cologne / cleaning products smell. Made the stay difficult.

Heel fijn verblijf
Pros:

Kamer was heel ruim. Goede locatie, alles in het centrum op loopafstand. Ontbijt erg goed.

Cons:

Onze kamer was niet in het hoofdgeboiw, maar aan de overkant van de straat. Erg warm, geen airco. Lift per halve verdieping, dus met veel bagage moet je alsnog wat trappen lopen. Geen parking. Hotel niet met de auto bereikbaar.

À 3 mn à pied de la place centrale . hôtel rénové et décoration décalée , style baroque , super !! Personnel aimable .

Cons:

Compte tenu du niveau d’étoiles , avoir une machine à café dans la chambre .

Hyggelig og sentralt.
Pros:

Hotellet ligger sentralt til, med kort vei til det meste av turistattraksjoner. Det meste av det vi ville se, lå i gangavstand fra hotellet. Gode senger. God frokost.

Cons:

Det burde vært litt mer lys i trappeoppgangene, f.eks. i form av spotlights ned mot trappetrinnene. For en eldre person med synsutfordringer, som liker å bruke trapper i stedet for heis, var trappeoppgangen i dunkleste laget.

Easy friendly check-in. Great location. Room a decent size. mostly clean.

The tea/ coffee situation is ridiculous. needed to get dressed to walk through the warren of corridors to find the the 'coffee stop ' remember to take your coffee pods from room.. crockery in room = one elaborate tea pot and one matching tea cup between the 2 of us. Wasn't sure if this set was just for show?? Back at the coffee stop the hot water was dispensed at knee level from machine designed to fill a cup. I didn't want to risk scolding myself trying to use the pot so I just used the cup with a bag .. my partner is a coffee drinker so all good for him but a paper cup had to be used. No milk option for tea which is usual in Belgium but still annoying. The room was big enough for a kettle and a coffee maker.
the lighting was poor. Painted a very dark colour so the dim bedside lamps were only good for ambiance. Had to use the overhead lights if you needed to see what you were doing when it got dark and these were super bright and jarring with the busy flowered wallpaper. No netflix.. gave up trying to cast my phone. there was pubic hair on the bathroom floor that didn't belong to myself or partner.
