Good price, hardworking staff, but the room needed maintenance.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly and professional. My kids had a great time in the pool. There were more breakfast options than I expected.

Cons:

Couldn't get air flowing in the room; too warm and smelled musty. The coffee maker didn't work. Furniture felt sticky to sit on. There was red splatter on the wall (...paint? I hope?) and bad patching of paint.

Wouldn't stay here again.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good location.

Cons:

Dirty rooms. Stained furniture and sheets. Broken tiles throughout the bathroom. Shower did not drain. Bathroom door wouldn't latch close.

Cons:

Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. Arrived at 5pm and room was not ready. Didn't get room until after 6pm. Someone in the lobby let us use their room so we could get ready for the event we came to South Bend for in the first place. Not very happy after traveling 4.5 hours, and then could not get our room.

Looks good on the surface...
Pros:

Pool was closed the entire 5 days. Staff was told to lie to guest and say its gonna be open "tomorrow". Most of the equipment in the fitness room is broken. "Front counter had no "snacks or drinks" looks like the owner bought a single Costco box of chips and filled the shelves with it drink fridge empty. As for the room... sofa bed was disgusting, ironing board looked to have blood stains, rips in carpet, just overall looks unsanitary. On the surface this place looks nice but once you actually stay here you realize its an absolute mess and the owner doesnt take care of the facility. I will not be back and I recommend you stay in one of the other 20 hotels within a mile radius of this place. The staff however was amazing and friendly. Housekeeping did the best the could and the front counter was super friendly. Its not the employees fault.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly the sink was stopped up in the bathroom call maintenance was on lunch soon as lunch was over can right to the room and unstopped it

Cons:

As they were cleaning the other room our door was opened and we were asked did we need any fresh towels and toiletries. Love the fact that its really pet friendly
