Clean and well equipped rooms. Staff was helpful, we could use the winckelfish so that was great.
Rooms face busy street with pubs/restaurants. Although hotel states
It has 3 double glazing, if you are noise sensitive I would refrain from staying there in weekend. Also if you are travelling for work.
The Jura coffee machine excellent breakfast friendly staff location but of course the roadworks outside our bedroom window were a disaster as we arrived late and couldn’t sleep

Lipsa aer conditionat ceea ce a facut ca in camera temperatura sa fie de 29 de grade ( 27 iunie 2026), am luat legatura cu personalul hotelului insa nu au oferit nici o alternativa. Nici nu au mai raspuns la mesaje….
Din pacate nu am fost informati de la check-inn despre lipsa aerului conditionat si a climatizarii. Pentru un hotel de 4 stele din Basel, cu preturi mult peste medie, este dezamagitor
Mic dejun slabut, fiind vara, fara clima, cu geamuri deschise erau multe muste care zburau in jurul mancarii.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to a lot of amenities and not too long a walk from the train station

Schöne, komfortable Einrichtung des Zimmers, sehr leckeres Frühstücksbüffet mit hübscher Dachterrasse auf der auch Abends leckere Cocktails serviert werden. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist zentral gelegen nahe des Barfüsserplatzes, von wo aus Straßenbahnen in alle Richtungen fahren. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Einkaufsstraße mit vielen Restaurants und Bars, abends ist hier ordentlich was los, ein schönes Kino ist direkt neben dem Hotel. Wer wert auf Ruhe legt, bucht besser ein Zimmer mit Terrasse. Die sind in Richtung der ruhigen Gasse gelegen.
Bei schönem Wetter kann es abends durch die Gastronomischen Aktivitäten etwas lauter werden.

Aufgrund einer Baustelle gegenüber war es sehr laut, ungemütlich und auf der Terrasse extrem staubig. Wir haben noch vor Ort storniert und sind in ein anderes Hotel gewechselt.
