Everything! The minute walked in the door we were greeted by professional and friendly staff at reception, bar and breakfast. The room was immaculate. The food (both dinner & breakfast) was delicious.
Nothing!
When we returned to the room at 15:00 to rest for a couple of hours before heading out again, it had still not been cleaned. This was quite surprising, as in my experience room cleaning in most hotels is usually completed by late morning, often by 11:00 at the latest.
At that point, we informed the maid — who was still a few rooms down the corridor — that we no longer required cleaning for the day, as we needed to rest.
This is the first time I’ve experienced such a significant delay in housekeeping service. I understand that there may have been staffing challenges or that the floor may have been assigned to a single staff member, which can understandably cause delays. However, timely room service is an important part of the overall guest experience, and this was disappointing.
I hope this feedback is helpful and can contribute to improving the service going forward.
